this is good stuff! our cat has digestive problems, and her vomitting is much less frequent with total-zymes added to every meal.

My dog is a German Shepherd Malamute mix and last year was diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency or EPI which basically means his pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes required to digest and absorbed the nutrients in his food. I order a brand here on Amazon and it helped a little for about 3 months, then stopped. By January this year I was very worried because Logan, who was once a muscular and healthy 112 pounds was down to 60. I bought this product because it was the LAST option before turning to raw pancreas or a possible euthanasia. I am SO impressed with how well he is doing after only a month on it, none of the other brands gave half the improvement I'm seeing in his in so little time. He has gained 5 pounds so far, stopped having diarrhea, no longer shedding all the time, no longer depressed, no more poo eating, less itching, more energy. He is still constantly hungry, but I feel like that is because he is so thin right now. I love my dog more than anything and Total-Zymes is saving his life. Thank you so much for formulating such an amazing product!

My poor German shepherd has never been able to gain weight. A few weeks ago she lost enough weight that her ribs and spine bones were protruding! Her normally soft hair became hard and brittle. After a trip to the visit and numerous tests. The dr said it could be EPI but I would have to spend an additional 200 bucks for the test.... And the enzymes she would need would cost about $150 a month for the rest of her life. Our dog is only 4 years old. The thought of putting her down over something that could be controlled was not an option, neither was watching her slowly starve to death. Obviously we couldn't afford the test let along the enzymes the dr recommended. I found this product and thought "why not?!" We have given this to our dog faithfully for a few days shy of a month now and let me tell you... What a turnaround! She's gaining weight finally, her hair texture has returned and she's starting to get her energy back to play! Thank you for this awesome product - my family appreciates it!

Every morning when I would wake up I had to search the house for vomit before we really started moving around freely or else we would always seem to step in a pool, puddle or pile of it. We used to have a lot of hairball related problems with our 4 cats. Our Siamese is a very fussy eater but all of them ate with the enzymes added like it wasn't even in the food. All are short haired and two are 14+ years old. We found an over-night improvement in the amount of throwing up from all of them. The enzymes seem to help digest the hair which makes sense because you can actually see the enzymes liquifying the food that sits in the bowl for 30 minutes or more. The cats are also now eating less food since they seem to be absorbing more of the nutrients from the portions that they're given. The litter box has improved somewhat. We have now also started making our own food out of 100% lightly cooked chicken thighs. The cost is actually less then the premium brands and we know exactly what is in it. With 50% of the skin and 60% of the bone ground right in, this has really helped our old girl with IBS. The litter box used to be a mess and sometimes she wouldn't even make it, she had to go so bad. She's firmed up a lot and always gets there now.

I have a recently adopted cat who spent 9 months in a shelter and lost 3 pounds then. After adoption, she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. While waiting for test results to come back to see if she had Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, I decided to try her on Bio-Case V digestive enzymes. That seemed to help her stop losing weight, but she wasn't gaining. The test results did not indicate EPI, but I decided to keep her on digestive enzymes. I switched to Total Zymes and within a few days, her stool was much improved. Darker and smaller, indicating nutrients were getting absorbed. She started to gain weight. She also has Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. From what I read, it sounded like L-Acidophilus as a probiotic, along with digestive enzymes, might help. Between the Total Zymes and L-Acidophilus, I hear much less in the way of stomach noises and burping. Good appetite and weight gain of 8 oz. in 9 days! Do be aware that the body needs to go thru a period of purging once you find a product like Total Zymes that works. There was a period of several days where her appetite and weight dropped again. I was afraid at first that it wasn't working, but then I read that the body has to get the gunk out and this can result in some short term stomach upset. I've read this can last from 1-3 weeks. Glad I kept her on Total Zymes, she's gained weight nicely and is finally doing well.Total Zymes is plant-based, rather than animal based. Some say animal-based digestive enzymes may not hold up against stomach acid. Another positive - this product is tasteless, so my cat is fine with sprinkling it on her food. You only distribute 1/4 teaspoon over 8 ounces of food, so you're not putting on alot.

I would HIGHLY recommend this line of products for any owner of a dog with allergies, digestive issues, disease states, etc. I first bought this product, along with the probiotics, when I adopted my westie with HORRIFIC allergies. When I got him his skin was blotched red, with patches missing, and he threw up routinely 4-5 times a week. I was desperate for him to absorb the nutrients he was taking in as quickly and thoroughly as possible, so being a clinical pharmacist, this type of product was my first thought, and I am very relieved it is available on the market! I later found out, after getting a blood allergy test, that aside from seasonal allergies that he's allergic to chicken (ingredient due to low allergenic profile in almost EVERY dog product), turkey, beef - that includes everything!! I wish I had gotten the test earlier. Now I know he can eat Duck and fish proteins only.I used this product again when I got my senior Rottie who had extremely proliferative Giardia and worms to make sure she was deriving as much from her meals as possible. Now it is a mainstay in her morning meds (multivitamin, antihistamine, cranberry powder) in a piece of ham. These products are beneficial to humans who are suffering from Crohn's/UC, bowel discomfort/constipation, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, etc so why not our pups? More needs to be known about these agents...Thanks!!
