Came with a cracked case. I was lucky to see that before I installed it.

I got this to add an inline 15A mini-AL fuse for my BassLink Mini powered sub. The case is made of polycarbonate, as the installation was tight, and the bolt I threaded through was on the edge of where the cover went. Thinking it'd snap off when I popped the fuse by accident (err twice), the cover's one side would not come off getting stuck against the bolt, but somehow, without breaking, I could open one side without breaking the tab on the stuck side.I also used 10 AWG with no issue. You need either M6 Allen (maybe M5...I forget). Two holes were already pre-drilled, so it was easy to secure them.

This single fuse holder has so much potential. Alone it can be used with either ANL or MANL fuses. It supports 4ga wire or remove the adapter and insert 1/0 ga wire. The magic happens when you combine two or more of these to create a fuse block that can be configured to virtually any use. You can parallel two of them and attach a bus bar on one side then connect 1/0 input and have two 4ga output. Connect multiple units and connect bus bars at all inputs to create a ground distribution. These will be my go-to fuse holders from now on.

This fuse holder is made well and of good quality. It has a small form factor witch helps out with a cleaner looking install.

What did it for me is the build quality. The plastic is thick enough to where the backplate does not crack when you mount it with screws, and the cover/cap stays on. The cap does not rattle loose since it’s not thin/brittle/“cheap”.It’s real easy to hide if that’s what you’re going for, but it is also well designed enough to where it’s clean enough aesthetically to show off too.I contacted the company via their support for a separate matter. It was in no way related to QC issues or defects or warranty or anything of that nature, just to be clear. They responded swiftly and my question was answered in their 1st reply. They treated me like a valued customer, which is rare these days, especially 3rd party sellers on Amazon.

A little confusing at first glance... but after you understand them, they are really neat. Sturdy and solid materials. I set it up for having 1 fused connection and 2 unfused connections. Lots of possibilities of configurations.- UPDATE :: I had been fighting a voltage problem at my equipment in the trunk for a very long time. Once I replaced the wiring my local shop put in, I realized they used CCA . Went from 12.3V in trunk (11.0 when the bass drops} to 14.2V, and 14.0 when the bass drops.

i want to use mini ANL type fuse, but I don't like any of the ANL fuse holder that's only protected by some flimsy plastic cover, and I was happy to find this option. it should do fairly well with durability and should be waterproof "enough" for its intended use. However, I had a problem of lining everything up in the "tube", and kept bending the fuse, so the whole assembly looks crooked in the tube. You need to be putting tension on each end with wire attached, than try to screw the caps down. While it's doable, it may be somewhat frustrating with new users.I'd suggest buy a few extra fuses, just in case you break the one you have during installation.

Excellent fuse holder for the money. My entire system is NVX - from the speakers and subwoofer, 5-Channel amplifier, and all wiring. Very small and durable. I have it mounted to a small bracket that was already mounted next to my engine bay fuse panel. 0 AWG wire fit perfect. Highly recommended!
