About this item

  • 【Designed for M.2 SSD】The NVME Heat Sink is specially designed for M.2 2280 SSD, which is very suitable for Laptop, Desktop Computers/PS5, etc.
  • 【10-30°C Cooling Effect】Pure Copper coverd by Graphite, Copper(401 W/mK) has better heat dissipation than aluminum alloy(237W/mk), and the groove design greatly increase the heat dissipation area, with 10°C - 30°C cooling effect (Varies depending on the environments), cool your M.2 SSD to a safe temp to avoid overheating and throttling, improving the performance of your computer.
  • 【Comes with Thermal Pad, Rubber Rings and bandages】thermal pad is made from Silicon Grease Material, with good thermal conductivity ability. Soft enough and good ductility, compatible with uneven surfaces of the M.2 SSD. Low viscosity, with no damage to the SSD warranty label. The bandages can bear high temperature.
  • 【Noted】Please choose 2mm for Laptop heatsink, 4mm for Desktop Computer Heatsink, please check the space for heatsink before purchase; the copper heatsink covered with graphite, so the heatskink looks black,It is normal if expose a little red copper
  • 【Package include】1PCS 70*20*2mm heatsink, 1PCS thermal Pad, Rubber Rings and Bandages

Product Description

The M.2 Heatsink is a new combination of copper and graphene, they are perfect solution of heat sink, comes with a high quality thermal pad.

Of the three elastics supplied, two broke after barely a month's use. Not worth it IMHO.

Everything is good except the rubber rings that broke very quickly due to heat probably. But the silicon pads kept the heatsinks on. One of my SSDs run as low as 34 degrees. That is very low.

I bought one to place on an NVMe stick for a Raspberry Pi, thinking that this should be enough (or much better than nothing). While it may absorb heat, it doees little to dissipate it and even the narrow, shallow cutouts on the top work very poorly for convection cooling (even with a fan). There should be wider gaps, narrower fins, and more rows. This is just a chunk of bolt-on metal that does nothing but get hot, and cool poorly.Cheap ROUND ruber bands all broke only days after installation.Thermal tape is low quality - thinner is better. After trying it I wish I could think of a use for it, and maybe heatsink is a good description, but 'radiating cooler' is not.

It took some googling to figure out what the o-rings were for.

Feels premium in hand, and seems very capable to dissipate the heat

I have a few of these and they work well and are not to difficult to install

Works but the black bands tend to break.

I have a BMax mini pc with almost no room for a M.2 2280 heatsink. Being so compact, there is almost no airflow despite all the fans being in perfect working order. My CPU was running on average at 78°C, with highs at about 88°C. My WD Blue M.2 SATA 2TB drive is right next to the CPU, and was running on average at 72°C, with highs at about 86°C. After installing this little heatsink, the drive runs on average at 56°C, while the CPU stays unchanged of course. This is probably the most effective slim heatsink I have ever tried. The little rubber rings are a bit difficult to handle, but they give you an alternative with the fabric straps, and those work well. Though, you get better contact and heat transfer with the rubber rings. Overall, a good design for difficult form factors.

ASUS strix laptop go BRRR now, I added these heatsinks and an additional SAS to laptop and they preform well with the assistance of these heatsinks!

This heat sink is easy to install and it works.

This was a solid buy, it was easy to install …except for the small rubber bands. They’re so tough to stretch! As you can see, I used some angled pliers to get all three of them over the drive and heatsink. I accidentally scraped some of the coating off in the process, but you can see the heatsink is indeed copper. That’s a good thing! I’ll likely buy this heatsink kit again in the future. Good product.

This thing dropped my temps by probably 3-5c, which might not sound like a lot, but when running a drive that runs hot, it's super helpful. Better than paying 50-60 more for a drive that has a heatsink attached.

I bought this to add to a rather hot chip on a Macintosh Performa 630CD DOS Compatible. The low profile is perfect for fitting under the DOS card, without shorting out on any of the solder joints. The blue insulative tape is there, just in case - but there's a good .5-.75mm of space between the tape and the bottom of the DOS card! Oh, and it drains the heat away very nicely, assisted with a noctua fan I shoe-horned into place, to blow across this heatsink, as well as the 486DX/2 on the DOS card. So much better!Just because a hunk of metal is designed for one use don't mean you can't use it for something else :D
