I was concerned about the weight and material used in this oven when I first opened it. It is very light in weight and won't take abuse. A very light gauge material (stainless steel) makes up the outer shell and most of the rest of the unit. It all works well once you figure out a technique and how to navigate the quirks and differences. It really cooks well and I've only experienced a couple undercooks (so I simply put it back in). It is more likely I would overcook and make things a little crispy thinking I needed more time in the cycle. Oops on my part. I haven't burned anything ... yet. :-) The ease of cleaning is ok. The surfaces wipe fairly easily but you have to navigate thru the heating elements when cleaning inside. The door and crumb tray are easy to deal with. The air fry rack is a bit of a pain and doens't fit in my sink for a soak. Why the instructions say put it in the top rack of the diskwasher is confusing as its all metal. Hmmm. The grill/grittle for my model works fine but it is a little harder to clean between the ribs. Again, top rack for the diskwasher if you don't like cleaning in the sink. I do recommend definitely cleaning stuff after EVERY use as this prevents future smoking and smells on your next cook. :-) Like every new kitchen device, you have to be willing to try new things and develop a technique and adjust. It really is very much like adjusting to a new microwave or full-size oven and once you have it down, you really enjoy using it. I do.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven! This appliance is a game changer in my kitchen. The new ultra-fast convection system cooks everything so quickly and evenly—it’s 2X more efficient than my old oven, and everything comes out perfectly crispy and delicious. The 142 degrees presets make cooking a breeze, and the smart probe takes the guesswork out of cooking meats, ensuring that they’re cooked to perfection every time. I love that it’s PFAS-free, and the 30QT size is perfect for large meals or entertaining. It’s sleek, stylish, and stainless steel, so it looks great on my countertop. I’ve used it for everything from air frying to baking, grilling, and toasting, and it consistently delivers fantastic results. Definitely worth every penny—I can’t imagine cooking without it!

First time user of a counter toaster oven. I almost spent a heck of a lot more money for a bigger name brand but settled on this one and so far I'm glad I did. I will say that, like another reviewer, I was not happy with the odor admitted from this machine. It did warn that such a thing was possible in the instructions and after using it several times over a few days its just about gone. Initially some burnt toast and a burnt pizza were my results. Now after several orders of toasted bagels and toast, as well as a couple pizzas and baked potatoes, the machine has produced wonderful results. Obviously the previous times were definitely user error. I dont find the machine difficult to use or clean. I just have to get used to the difference in cooking times vs standard oven. So far the best feature for me is being able to set different temperature times on the top and bottom of meal, such as a pizza. It works great. Even better with a perforated ceramic pizza pan. Reheating is better than a microwave. Not yet ready to make something more difficult such as baking a roast or a casserole. Will update when I do. For now, I'm so far very happy with it. It's not difficult to use and it cooks well. It's not really noisy. It cooks fast. Doesn't emit huge heat. Accessories are decent quality. Price was right.

(Purchased in late November 2024)The instant vortex pro was the first air fryer I ever purchased in 2021 and i didnt know much about air fryers. It worked great in the beginning but then I noticed things would get over cooked sometimes but not others. I couldn't understand what was going on. Turns out, steam was escaping and the touchscreen buttons were above door where the steam was escaping from. The steam was changing the time and temperature settings and it quickly became apparent that it was unreliable and extremely unsafe. So I knew I needed a new one fast.I wanted an air fryer that had actual push buttons that were NOT above where the unit opens. Check! Also, something a bit bigger than the old air fryer. Check! The size of this things is amazing. I can fit a lot of my bakeware inside it, like a 12 cup muffin pan. I can cook a 12 inch pizza in it. It makes cooking anything easy! Especially with the probe that will cook any meat perfectly by temperature. We used it to cook our Thanksgiving turkey breast (not a whole turkey) and it was delicious and perfectly juicy! And easy!I did buy this at a Black Friday sale price (total was about $150) but the value for the money is worth it! I can even proof dough in this thing. (Temps range from 50 to 500 degrees) There isn't much it can't do. And it's extremely user friendly. When you pick your setting (toast, bake, proof, etc.) It even tells you what rack is most ideal to cook on for best results, on the screen. That's not even the half of it but I would totally recommend this Nuwave Air fryer to anyone looking for a new air fryer!
