All of my cats LOVE this wet food. I have this on subscription through amazon and had zero issues receiving the product. Each pack comes as a twin pack, which is nice because buying cans has too much wet food in each one. I also like how the wet food is in recyclable packaging and not in a can. Each twin pack is a smaller portion of food, which we like.

My kitties scarf this down as soon as it's in the dish. I can easily hide medicine in it because my cats eat it with wild abandon. The packaging is not great, however. Unlike a can, it's difficult to avoid getting the food all over your hands when you open it.

My cat is a dietbtic. This food is really good for him. He gobbled it down. He isn't complaining about it. He loves it.

My kitty only eats wet food with gravy. I try to give her healthy food, so I gave this a try. She's not wild about it, but she does eat it eventually. And always licks all the gravy.

I have tried many cat food brands and this is the only one my cat will consistently eat and finish. The single portion containers, are convenient and you are not stuck storing leftovers in the fridge, like cans. We have been buying this food for over 3 years and haven't had any quality issues.

I thought I had finally found a cat food that I and my cats would like. Great ingredients, cats like it but the packaging is awful. Thick aluminum top to a divided dose that is very difficult to open. Even my 200 lb 6'6" husband has difficulty. Then when you finally get the top off , you need to do it again to the other side in order to get a full serving. Why the company did this I do not know. Then I have to remove the portion with a spoon in hopes of getting it all out. Finally, I decided to use a knife to open the top but found a new problem. Several times I have cut myself on the very thick aluminum foil top. Love the product hate the packaging. And, the thing is that Nutro could save money on not dividing a typical portion into two sides and using a thinner foil top which would still keep the food from spilling out but would be easier to open. I really hope they change this as the ingredients are top notch.

So, if you have a picky cat with a delicate digestive system and were devastated when Nutro phased out their canned foods, then we are in the same boat. For the new version, two of the four flavors I have tried have not made her throw up. Sometimes she eats it enthusiastically, but other times she turns her nose up at it and fills up on dry food instead. The packaging is a real issue for me. First of all from a sustainability pov it's a definitely a move in the wrong direction, though you could perhaps argue that in the name of making it lighter to transport and due to costs of recycling metal, there may be some advantage in using the plastic packagine with foil cover. However, I'm having difficulty with the packaging for several reasons. 1) I have found it to be impossible to open it without it spraying, and I haven't yet figured out how to predict in what direction it will spray so it gets on my hands, walls, floor, and parts of the food bowl that I'm not aiming for. Not a pleasant experience. Secondly, as a person with some physical limitations it is very difficult and painful for me to pull the tab hard enough to actually break the seal, and that gets old fast when you're feeding the cat two or three, sometimes four packets of this in a day. 3) Because the food makes such a mess when I open it, I don't feel I can store it in the refrigerator, nor do I want to deal with trying to dispense just half of the contents of one section. But the cat only eats about a half at a time, and because the new "cuts" are like tiny shreds whereas the cans contained reasonably sized chunks, when the food spreads out after the cat eats the first half, it starts to dry up and she does not want to eat it when it's become dry. She'd rather eat dry food, but I want her well hydrated. As an aging kitty she is prone to constipation so it's important that she get as much moisture from her food as possible. 3) I find it unforgivable to move from recyclable packaging to disposable plastic at a time when there is such an excess of waste in the world. As others have mentioned, the decrease in the overall portion size (if you feed your cat both halves of one of these little containers per day you are feeding them significantly less than if you had previously been feeding them a can per day. So I'm finding the packaging is wasteful, the packaging is hard to manage and messy and smelly and unpleasant to store if you only want to dispense part of the contents after opening it, and the cost ends up being much greater than the previous iteration in the cans, because of the smaller volume combined with greater waste (more food left over by cat). But at least she likes it enough that she's not miserable (and she does become quite miserable when given wet food that she really dislikes). I'm thrilled that she will eat it much of the time and that the chicken and salmon flavors, though not her favorite, do not make her vomit. She seems to be in good health. Possibly even better than she was doing on the canned varieties, and that is gratifying. But overall I'm disappointed in the brand and would be much happier if they brought back the old formula and packaging, or a slightly modified formula to keep any improvements they've made nutritionally, but to go back to a more manageable, recyclable, and more affordable product..

He is a wet food eater and strangely always wants fancy feast with gravy BUT this he loves and I use it to break up his eating pattern and it makes him wanting more. As a full-time everyday meal I could see this getting expensive but it more than makes that up by doing what I wanted to do. Tarot gives two paws up.

This is the only brand I will feed my cat, he is never sick and had a vet check-up recently. He poops regularly and is always full of energy. If your cat suffers from dietary issues try switching to only wet food.

My cats really like this food. It stores nicely, too. The only thing I don't like about it is that they really don't have enough for one feeding in each section. It usually takes the whole 2 portions for each cat per meal and I feed them twice a day. I also supplement it with dry food.

I didn't realize that I was on my last can of wet food until I was using it, so I was so relieved to be able to find this for Amazon one-day Prime. Just as promised, it arrived in a day, and my cat loved it. The ingredients are pretty good as well - no chicken or turkey by-product, and all the rest of the ingredients seem to check out as well in being good for cats. The single portion is ideally helpful, but all cats have different needs for wet food, so it's hard to just go with a one-size-fits-all thing. Overall though, these are convenient and great in a pinch - just probably not best to rely on as your wet food always due to the price and portions.

Individual servings of turkey and chicken-- this is the real deal with the first 4-5 ingredients being meat products, no grains, no carrageenan, no artificial colors or flavorings. These are small portions (with most of the weight being water). Nutro's guidance is to feed 4-5 of these daily to an 8lb cat-- that would get expensive (and tedious) quickly, so I suspect most pet owners are using this food as a treat or to augment other food.My two middle-aged female cats, who are extremely fond of their Nutro kibble, actually like this food. Since they grew up eating mostly dry food, and always have their choice of several types of kibble available, they are never ravenous when I present them with wet food (it's a treat). So it has to be something they really like for them to bother eating much of it. This is one of the rare foods they seem to consistently like (nutro minced also gets some love). They both eat a good part of the serving before wandering off. The turkey variant might be the slight favorite over the chicken. My only complaint is the packaging-- there's a lot of it, especially if you're doing the 4-5 a day per cat. There's even a plastic tray (inside the cardboard carton) designed to hold the containers. And these little containers are designed mostly for aesthetics-- they're too narrow and lightweight for the cats to eat directly from the container. It would be great if Nutro redesigned the packaging to be less wasteful (or the containers to be more useful), but I'm happy to see another food offering that's both healthy AND that my kitties actually enjoy. Recommended.
