I have purchased this several times for my cats. I love that it is more natural, and looks like real chicken. According to Wellness, each grain-free recipe was approved by pet nutritionists and veterinarians to give your cats the daily nutrients to support a healthy immune system, digestion, and optimal energy, while also supporting the necessary daily hydration for cats.

My cat was very sick with FIP and had no appetite due to the virus. She was very picky with eating and I tried so many wet cat foods. The mousse chicken and turkey recipe was a life saver for her. Now I mix it with her regular wet food. She is on medication and recovering. I recommend trying this food if your cat is picky. They also sell them in single serve pouches at the pet store if you just want to try it before buying a whole box. This review is for the mousse chicken and turkey recipe not the shreds.

My cat licks up the sauce. He might eat half a teaspoon of the shredded food, and then he walks away. Most of the shredded food he does not eat. In some pouches there might be a tablespoon or more of sauce, but some pouches are dried up and there is very little sauce. Sometimes the shredded chicken is thin, and sometimes it is thick. There is no consistency with this food. There is a very small amount of food inside the pouches. It smells like chicken. The food is good quality, but expensive for what you get. These pouches might be good as a treat, but not as a main food.If your cat actually eats all this food –It says on the container, "Feed 7 to 8 1/2 pouches per 6 to 8 lbs. of body weight per day." That means, if you have a ten-pound cat, you need to feed them over ten of these pouches every day. And there are only eight pouches in a container! My cat also gets dry cat food and a different kind of wet food.

My cat who has kidney issues is very finicky and very thin. This is one of the few foods she will eat. It is also really easy to mix medication into. Unfortunately, it sells out frequently. Highly recommend.

My picky senior cat absolutely LOVES these. But they do smell quite a bit stronger than other wet foods I’ve tried. But it’s okay because he loves it and the ingredients seem okay for him. I don’t pay for smell, I pay for foods my little guy will enjoy and that are good for him. Especially like the high moisture. Just don’t be surprised when your whole kitchen smells like turkey lol. All in all great and I give him this food along with one other brand consistently.

Cat smells wacks away come home 4 days later still there moldy never buy again you get what you pay for. I’ll keep with the one cost $40

The cats love these chicken mousse packets. I’m glad that they are a complete meal and use good ingredients. They are more affordable than other brands as well.

I tried this brand for the first time since my siamese cat has become very picky about her wet food. She is refusing to eat anything from a can and will only eat stews and broths from a pouch...and often refuses those (did I mention that she if picky?).I decided to give these a try, and she ate it the first time and is now sniffing and turning away. However, I can tell that it is good quality and has much more meat and less broth than the other pouch foods that I have tried. So these are owner approved, even if they aren't not approved by my cat.
