By far my best A-zon purchase ever. This item is rugged anodized aluminum with stainless machine screws. If you demand quality, buy this and you will not be disappointed. If you’re happy with junk, you wouldn’t even be reading this, you would have bought something plastic.

This is one of those tools you wish you’d bought a long time ago. Now that I finally have it, I’m really happy I did. It’s super easy to use, saves a ton of time, and is versatile, making tough jobs a lot easier. I like the new color better, but the contrast makes the text a bit hard to read from far away. It’s a huge time-saver and cuts down on hassle. If you’ve got some extra cash and often work with nuts and bolts, it’s definitely worth it. I’ve always been curious about these products and am getting okay with impulse buys. Up close, it works great. The studs don’t seem to get much torque with normal use, but I twisted them as hard as I could by hand, and it felt solid with no movement. I’m really pleased with it; it’s well made. I’d go for the more expensive two-piece option since you can mount the gauge on the wall and move it around as needed, instead of being stuck using it in one spot.

This is one of those purchases, where you are like, “where have you been my whole life!” This has saved so much time and energy and frustrating trips to the store.Ridiculously easy to use, sturdy, and has a feature to hang on the wall. As a team who loves to fabricate, rebuild cars, and work with metal and wood, We love this purchase! And tell all our friends, the price is so minimal for the time saver! Great purchase- would do again, but we don’t need to! And love this on sturdy structure. Also purchased a “string” version for other applications that can’t be removed easily.

This bolt/nut sizing tool is fantastic. The backplate is made from 1/4" solid aluminum, the markings are all very easy to read, even without my glasses. The bolts are all stainless steel - confirmed by testing with a magnet, no magnetic pull. And, the threads are all machined perfectly. Even the little bolts have a slight chamfer at the end. This is an industrial-grade tool, you won't be disappointed.

I will use in my shop to quickly determine the size of screws and nuts. Both metric and standard threads, fine and coarse threads. Well constructed complete with holes to hang on the wall. Excellent.

I have had other products similar to this but they were plastic. This one is made of good quality metal. It is not flimsy and it’s thick and strong. Will be nearly indestructible unlike the plastic ones. The fact that it has metric and SAE along with fine and course threads puts it stars above the plastic ones which didn’t have these features. The price point is very reasonable for something of this quality. I use it a lot in the measuring of bolts and nuts in my work on my land. What could be simpler as I am not as good at guessing sizes as I once was. Would recommend to anyone needing this type of product. I would buy again if the need were to arise. I leave mine right beside my toolbox for quick and easy access.
