Very nice speakerphone, it has a very good appearance, it comes well packaged, the materials with which it is built feel solid. The volume level is not that loud, so for a meeting room or a large room it may be deficient. It does a good job of reducing ambient noise, it connects via Bluetooth without problems, but in my case I have it connected directly with the USB cable. It did not need drivers and it is detected by my computer with Windows 10 Pro immediately.I could not test it with MacOS, but according to the specifications it is compatible with this operating system. In general terms it looks and works well.

Had to reach out to the company for instructions on how to get the unit charged and powered on. Turns out, there are two usb-c ports on the back. Only one is for charging. This isn't pointed out anywhere. Once I got it connected, it works great. I use it in my RV to listen to audio books while traveling; it's to be able to take calls that come in. Speaker works great for phone calls. The buttons are a little too sensitive. I've inadvertently shut the thing off just picking it up to move it . . . several times.I got help quickly from the company.

Using it as a computer speaker it auto-adjusts volume, this auto-adjust is either too high or too low really quickly, so it's hard to adjust even with the volume on the device. It's recording range feels more like 1 meter, I tried it and it was inconsistent. As long as I'm facing towards the box, it seems to work. But the worse part has to be the voice pickup. I tried the microphone test in Zoom and windows settings and it showed sound was getting picked up, but it wasn't being played from the speaker when I played it back.I thought it was the bluetooth so I tried wired connection and it's the same on playback. It's only the first second or so, then playback is normal. It's baffling. I tried using it on youtube on it will for some reason be very quiet then go back to normal volume.I can't trust it to record.

Product comes well packaged with a usb power cord (no charger), audio jack for tethering another speakerphone unit, usb dongle and a soft travel case. The USB dongle isn’t strictly needed if your phone or PC has bluetooth, the speakerphone works fine over bluetooth. It’s nice to have the option. Since I don’t see myself using the dongle often, it would have been nice to have a place either in the speakerphone or in the travel case to store the dongle. Failing that, something identifying it an the nuroum speakerphone dongle would have been nice, so in 6 months when I reach in the drawer, I know what it is. I wouldn’t have missed the dongle had they not included it, but now I have it, I’d like somewhere to put it. That might be slightly unreasonable of me.The labels on the back of the device were confusing to me, and I’m a techie. There’s one logo that looks to me like a battery, and another a red laptop. Wall power goes into the red laptop usb-c port. The port that looks like a battery allows you to use the speakerphone as a battery bank to charge your phone with. In the manual, it’s listed as a 2600mAh battery. It could come in handy if you travel with your speakerphone. So that’s a nice perk that isn’t even listed. On the plus side, if you plug your charger into the wrong usb-c slot (oops) it did not seem to damage anything.Aside from those two things, this speakerphone seems to be generally well thought out, and performs as well as I expected it to. There’s a helpful bright and long LED that shows the status of the speakerphone. It’s hidden behind the cloth, but can easily be seen when lit. When muted, the led turns from blue to red. The audio prompts are clear and in english, the speakerphone will tell you if it is turning on, connecting to bluetooth devices, how many bluetooth devices are connected, battery state, etc.Without prompting, a few people did mention that they could hear me better than they could in the past, when I used my phone speakerphone or my bone conduction headset. The microphones are sensitive enough to pick up someone over 10 foot away if they spoke clearly, and the speakerphone could also be heard from that distance.I mean, exactly zero people have ever said to me: "Your handset sounds awful, please put me on speakerphone." So I accept that there's going to be a tradeoff when using a speakerphone or conference speakerphone. I'm pretty happy with this one.

I was lucky enough to receive both the Bluetooth and USB corded versions of this speakerphone. Both have excellent features and are aesthetically pleasing. However, one worked significantly better than the other. I had high hopes for the Bluetooth model. It failed to meet expectations. Call quality was good and it worked very well for Teams calls initially. The sound reproduction is excellent and it sounds really good for music as well. The big issue was with connecting to my laptop via Bluetooth. It would frequently drop off connection. Usually that was in the middle of important Teams calls. Not a good look. I tried hard wiring it and turning off the Bluetooth. The next time I would connect my laptop back to my docking station, it would default to Bluetooth and do it all over again. I was a big fan of the corded USB model. So much so that I let my employer have their Jabra model back to pass along to another employee. Nuroum makes nice products and I highly recommend the little brother model of this one. If you are depending on Bluetooth, I would suggest looking at a Jabra.

The quick start instructions were pretty straight forward, but there were not any in-depth instructions. This is essentially a plug-and-play device, but charge it first! It took me a couple of hours to charge it before I could use it. It does provide an amplified sound that is clear and crisp. I have not recorded anything, so I have no idea if the mic works well, but the few video call that I have had have not complained about not being able to understand me. I like that this is rechargable and portable. I need it to increase the audio quality of my older computer. It does exactly what it claims. I just wish the instructions were more detailed.
