Echo issues troubleshooting:
1: you need to indicate in settings that you are using this USB speaker. By default the audio and microphone settings are set to use your laptop of PC built in speakers and microphone
2: the laptop the unit was plugged into, did not have its own internal microphone disabled - so there were 2 microphones picking up sound. Once disabled the laptop's internal microphone, the echo went away.

It works well when it works but has been extremely inconsistent and too much trouble to deal with. Plug and Play is no problem. When active on a call, the speaker emits a low noise that I can hear. It sounds like a little tiny motor. I could accept that noise but the microphone is the worst part. I have it placed on my desk about 1 foot away from me. It is sitting on my desk near my keyboard. The users on the other end say it sounds like I am far away. I tried different locations but had the same result. Finally, I propped up the speakerphone onto the side then they could hear me normally. I am now looking for something else.

Cumple su cometido y lleva incluido un filtro para sonidos que no sean la voz.He probado a grabar dando golpes o palmadas y no se oyen, hay una leve detección en la gráfica del sonido grabado de la aplicación que usé pero es casi inaudible y dura lo que tarda en filtrarla, prácticamente nada. No hay que instalar software adicional para eso, lo hace de serie.Totalmente recomendado.Imprescindible si quieres hablar y que no se cuelen ruidos en la conversación.

i used it extensively for my zoom calls while working from home. it was a good unit, while it lasted. however it lasted only a tad bit over 6 months. speaker may now have been damaged and it sounds garbled.was hoping it would last longer.Edit: I am updating my review from earlier 2 stars to 5... i was contacted by Kaysuda Tech soon after and they sent me a brand new replacement which is an updated version of the one i had.Have been using it for a week now. Improvement in sound quality is noticeable.

works surprisingly well for the price, plug and play.mic works fine within 1-1.5m radius (have yet to try it in a larger conference/board room, will update when I do so), speaker is loud enough under the same distance, will update when used in a larger space or room.choose in windows sound settings for output source/mic and you're good to go.build-quality is good as well for the price, the item itself is not too heavy, but it feels solid and well built, not too worried about bringing out and about with me.only negative would be it's still using the very outdated micro-usb connector with USB-A, so that's something to consider if you rather not carry so many cables around. that being said, the supplied cable is solid and of good quality.great product overall!

Great conduit for recording an in person meeting that had a Zoom attendees as well. Very clear (no one complained that they couldn't hear or to repeat things being said). This is a very reliable tool. It would help if there were more instructions about setup and that the computer would just recognize when Zoom was started. If using to record without Zoom the setup takes more steps and is harder to figure out.

Since covid, as many of us, my home turned my office meaning have way more meetings than before.So first of all, headphones/headsets/earplugs all kind of help to get more tired at the end of the day. I've been using this device for almost a month and I'm not that tired as before. It is way more comfortable for obvious reasons.Secondly, we have Jabra speakers at the office and I purchased this one for myself and quality is great! buttons do work perfectly (some users complained about their usability). Microphone reception is good where having it half a meter away does not decreases quality when others listen to you. Loudness is fine for a home office, it may be a little weak when in a room with more people, but, since my intention is to use it at home, it really does the job.My only complain is that the device driver (I have windows 10) does not let applications know you are muted so, you can both mute on the device and on the app (zoom, teams, hangouts).

Extremely easy to connect, just plug into a USB port and finished. The speaker is very clear and can be heard from across the room. The cord is about 3’ long, so you can move it away from your laptop fan and keyboard (I experience quite a bit of unplanned noise from other participants in online meetings due to laptop fan and keyboard). Maybe one day they will learn to mute... but not today. The microphone works well I would guess for people in a 8’ radius, outside of that people would have to yell. I have recommended this unit to others in my organization. It is a good value.

MS-Teams hat das Gerät sowohl unter Linux als auch Windows sofort als Ein-/Ausgabe erkannt. Klang ist gut und die Kollegen im HO konnten alles sehr gut verstehen.

En verdad tiene muy buena calidad de sonido para cuando se esta en una junta, mejor que todas las otras bocinas que he probado.Con la situación mundial del covid-19 tuve que comenzar a trabajar de manera remota, lo cual implico atender muchas juntas por videollamadas que involucran muchos participantes (entre 2 - 8). Me sorprendió mucho la nitidez con la cual puedo escuchar a todos, incluso cuando varios hablan al mismo tiempo. Ademas, al cambiar a usar este producto he dejado de recibir comentarios sobre ruido ambiental, o que no entienden lo que digo.Con respecto a la instalación del producto, no tuve ningún problema, solo lo conecte a mi computadora y estaba listo para escuchar y hablar.El producto tiene una calidad muy satisfactoria, con materiales de calidad y acabados lisos, y los controles son fáciles de usar.Se lo recomiendo comprar a todo aquel que este buscando una bocina / microfono para juntas de Home Office. Excelente producto.

Based on the 5s across the board when I purchased, I feel misled. (Dangit!) I should have returned it & spent more. The functionality is good. It will work for you. I was hoping to 100% replace my headset. I had another device similar to this from years ago which had stopped using. I was hoping technology had improved enough that the quality would be as good as the speaker aspect of my Polycom VOIP phone. My employer uses RingCentral. When we operate a dialer, it is done via our application on the computer. At first, I thought it was working horribly as kept repeatedly hearing that the person could not hear me. However, I tested it by calling my voicemail & listening to the recording of calls. Perhaps with so many being on their cell phone in places with noise, the headset quality is more necessary. It's TOO obvious is a speaker device just sitting in front of it. I fiddled around with settings, only to make it worse. Often, I am picking it up or switching to my headset. If the recipient has sufficient quality on their end or enables a conducive environment, you should be able to communicate well enough. Thusly, the five stars is I suppose is accurate. However, I wonder if they were privy to how it sounds even under optimal circumstances, would also give five?Addendum: Downgrading to 3. Wanted to be nice, but am barely using this now.

Plus: It's small. Palm-sized. My coworker saw the case and thought I had bought a new set of Bluetooth earbuds, because her Bluetooth earbuds have a nearly identical case. She was amazed it was a USB speakerphone, since the ones we have at the office ( ) that we use for Google Meet are much larger -- nearly twice the diameter.Minus: Sound quality is not as good as the aforementioned Jabra that we have dozens of where I work. I expected it not to be as loud -- it's a smaller speaker, so that's reasonable -- but the echo cancellation hardware still isn't quite as good. I'm not sure if that's due to an inferior chipset or a lack of multiple microphones located on different sides, or what.If you get one that has an obvious echo, as if you were just using your laptop's built in speakers and microphone, it's defective. The first one I received was defective and had a horrible echo, but the seller offered to send a replacement immediately. The second one definitely doesn't have the obvious echo (I tried them one after the other in the same Google Hangout call, and the other end definitely could tell me which was the old defective one and which was the new one), but they did say that even the new one wasn't perfectly clear like the bigger speakers. More like most of their sentence was being squelched properly by the echo cancellation, but just the beginning of the first word was making it through.
