Very pleased. My first order was never received as it was apparently lost in transit so they replaced it and I love these. Well worth it and strong grip for my fabrics.

Love this nurge hoop. Better than the wooden hops I've always used.Keeps my aida nicely taught which means I can stitch faster. Size is great. Tension great. Value for money

Funkar bra som korsstygnsram. Lite väl hård att spänna bara så rekommenderar att spänna genom att ha en trasa eller något mellan handen och spännaren så det både blir lättare och man inte får ont.

Even though I measured out its size before I bought it, this hoop is quite big in the hand. I'll probably not use this regularly, or at least until I can afford a stand to hold it. Otherwise, Nurge hoops are well-made and work beautifully for cross stitching or embroidery.

This has fast become my favorite hoop for all my cross stitch projects. Back in the day, we used wooden hoops, and some still do. When I came back to cross stitching a couple years ago, I was ditching in hand, because I found hoops too bulky. Well, these are amazing. My hands now hurt as I age, so this hoop is easier to hold, the shape is perfect, and I love how even my stitches look. Nurge is definitely a winner for any stitcher!

This is honestly the best tension hoop I’ve ever used! It was a little difficult getting the fabric in, but I’m sure with more use I’ll get better at setting it up. I’m just so happy I was able to find a large square hoop for the bigger cross stitch projects I like to do. The fabric stays nice and tight and despite being plastic and somewhat bigger than the average hoop, it’s not too heavy. I just wish the dimensions were the same both length and width.

This large rectangular hoop for cross stitching works really well. What I most love about it is the fact that there is a small groove in the outer ring and a small bump out in the inner ring that allows you to hold the Aida cloth really well and it helps keep the tension over time when working on your project. I also love the fact that the screw head is offset on an angle. It helps with my dexterity and makes it easier to tighten.

I am very happy with this hoop. I like that it holds a rectangular piece of linen well. Unlike my q-snaps the edges do not pull out as I stitch. I liked it so much that I bought two other sizes.

These are the best hoops out there for cross stitch. I generally use a QSnap but when I use a hoop, I’m using these hands down.

Where has this been all my life??? I’ve been stitching for 40 years and I just came across this little Nurge set. It keeps my material tight throughout my entire stitching session. Equally great is that it doesn’t leave a hard crease when I release the material after stitching. It also seems to help minimize the pain you get in your hands after holding it for a long time because you don’t have to maintain a tight grip at all. These things are keepers!

I will never go back to using wood hoops again. Since I discovered nurge, I love them. They are super easy to use, and the best part for me is the large, heavy duty plastic screw which is much easier for me to tighten. The small metal ones hurt my fingers when I tighten it down enough, this one does not. Holds my fabric as tight as I want, and if it gets loose while working, just give it a little tug and it tightens right up again. I have bought several of these, because they will hold the entire working surface of many of my patterns and I don't have to move the hoop at all until I am finished. It won't fit in a regular vinyl project bag but it will fit in the largest size project bags.
