Didn't work. I did get a radioactive calibration card until after the return closed. It turns on but no detection.

I started with an old civil surplus init 20 years ago and every few years I buy the latest model... they keep getting smaller and smaller and with better displays. This one is no different . It also feels more solid, like it can take a fall and still work, unlike the last one it replaces.

DO NOT BUY - scam product. I got this just as a personal one because I was curious how well it would work and what it would pick up. I have a genuine Ludlum counter that can check alpha, beta and gamma rays. It is calibrated with C137 which the manual claims this reader can pick up. If you look at my photo you can see what it should be reading when I hold it next to the C137 to verify calibration.
