very happy with this, took me a little bit to get used to its design.. mainly its gate, I have rough and dry hands most of the time and it felt a little slick to operate the gate but when wearing gloves no issue. over all am pleased.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either notch or DMM, I can’t complain

Quality carabiners are something of a personal taste related in part to the movements required for gate opening.. These open by an upward deflection (away from the gate hinge pin) followed by a rotation toward the fingers (away from thumb) when held in the right hand. This is the natural movement my right hand prefers when opening a carabiner. Its best to try out several carabiner models before buying several of the one you like best. I also like the heavily knurled gate, and it's made by a reputable company.

Excellent carabiner. A look alike to the DMM oval carabiner. The spring in the triact-lock barrel is stronger than Petzel or DMM carabiners.
