As others have said, these small but strong mini-biners are perfect for connecting foot loops to ascenders, tender pulleys under climbing knots, and I’ve found a dozen other uses for them. They’ve helped me shave weight off my rope access rig where I had been using BD mini-wires (which are pretty light to start with). Because of their tiny size (and they’re smaller than I expected) they don’t move around as much once in place, don’t get snagged as often, and maybe because of both, they don’t get cross loaded accidentally. They are really small though - one reason I got them was to connect the non- working end of my Petzl Grillion to my harness, but it’s actually too small for that. Otherwise, great little link

It’ll fit along with another carabiner in a VT prussick eye, or along side other items in an ascender. Fantastic little single-purpose carabiner.Worth the price for 1, but I’d buy a dozen if they were cheaper.

Used them for a few years now to suspend my hammock when wild camping; connecting the whoopie slings to the tree huggers. Just bought another set.

It is what it's made for. Very small and only rated for 4kN (not for any climbing) but it can accept a normal diameter rope. For such a small accessory carabiner it's super expensive and costs more than a normal size full strength carabiner. It's very small and skinny that it's hard to handle just like any other cheaper counter part key chain style clips. Still it's the one of a kind carabiner that is happened to be made by DMM with high quality.

So to be clear, these are not full sized full strength carabiners, they're TINY! and the only hold 4kn (about 1000lbs)That said, if you're looking for a tiny carabiner that weighs nothing, I love these little guys! Stunned at how strong these are, you can't get a good sense of size to strength until you hold one. Great for racking gear, clipping shoes to a pack, or on the leg loop of a harness for a little extra friction on a lower. kinda pricy, even at the 10$ sale price, but still very good!
