1 star because the company did not specify induction compatibility and allowed someone to answer a question misleadingly.My induction stovetop does not detect the pot, and a magnet does not stick to the bottom.

It's a cheap pot. The one I got doesn't seem as bad as some of the other reviews show but it's probably poor quality control.It says 5 gal and it's exactly 5 gal. Don't expect to actually brew 5 gal of beer in this because there is no space for boil off. I made about 3 gal using this vessel.

I'm using this for natural indigo dyeing, on an induction burner. Works great. Lightweight stainless steel but sturdy.

it fitted three buff orpington well inside to be plucked afterward. Only thing I dislike about it is that the wall of this stainless pot is too thin and could dent easier like aluminum soda can. Just gotta be careful but otherwise it works well.
