I purchased this after I received my espresso machine, so I could make the perfect latte. I finally got the temperature right when stretching the milk and this thermometer made all the difference. It fits on the milk frothing pitcher and is in view as you steam your milk. No more guesswork!

Ah, ha! Baristas beware I will now return my latte if you do not make it to 130 degrees as requested!I don't mean to sound snobby but the "Star" coffee places around here love to serve you blistering hot cups of coffee. I began requesting my lattes at 130 degrees so I can drink it instead of looking at it! Unfortunately, the task of serving my latte at a correct temp seemed too much for the baristas.But alas, the Norpro Instant Read Thermometer to the rescue! I keep this in my car so I can look at the temp of the latte before I drive away from the window! It works super fast and seems to be perfectly accurate. I know when this thing says 130 I can drink it immediately!!
