We used this over a fire to make smores with our granddaughter. She loved it! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because you have to squeeze the handles to keep them together. A clamp to secure them together would work better.

Since my old pie iron melted down in a campfire, I spent the extra money on this one. It is super heavy- duty and I like that I can make 2 items at a time. Haven’t used it yet - looking forward to camping and trying it this summer. It’s going to be fabulous!

A pretty cool little cooker. These things are pretty useful to have whether it's just to go outside to have a fun over a fire or to take camping. It is small, so you have to be kinda careful when you're clamping your food in there. And there's no lock, so you gotta definitely have a good grip on there when you flip it. But it's a pretty solid design. I really don't have any complaints beyond that. Great for cooking meat, brauts, and even toasting a sandwich.

What a wonderful tool for grilling food over an open fire! It has a fairly large-sized cage to hold the food, which is attached to a very long, strong steel handle.It is so convenient for roasting multiple pieces of food, instead of sticking one piece at a time on a skewer.I am very pleased with the high-quality construction and durability.Thank you for reading my review! I am really impressed with the quality of this iron cooker. I have used it for sandwiches in the coals and it's amazing how well it crisps up and toasts the bread. The food cooked evenly, too. I used lots of butter on the bread, but I would imagine you'll want to use oil or something similar to avoid anything sticking to it. The handle does get hot so be sure to have hot pads available. I absolutely imagine this being a lifetime item.
