  • Prepping cloth diapers & inserts opens up fibres to ensure adequate absorbency. Insert prep is a first simple step. Put your new inserts through 3- 4 regular wash cycles (using a cloth diaper safe detergent) No need to dry in between washes!

  • If you are experiencing leaks please check if you have the right fit. You can also try using extra inserts for extra absorbency. You may also be experiencing mineral build up from hard water.

  • If you are experiencing absorbency issues, and/or an odor, you may have a build-up on your cloth diapers. This can be caused by hard water, detergents, or diaper creams that are not safe for cloth diapers, ointments, oils, etc.

  • This is an initial step that should be taken to rinse away any natural oils found on fabrics. Prepping cloth diapers also opens up fibres to ensure adequate absorbency.

  • When choosing a laundry detergent for cloth diapers, look for high cleaning power while avoiding fragrances and perfumes, dyes, optical brighteners and bleach. Avoid harsh enzymes if your baby has sensitive skin.

It’s for newborns. Because it’s so soft. I use it as a urinary control pad. It feels wonderful. Easy to launder.

I LOVE these. Combining these with a folded flour sack in a diaper cover is leakproof istg. My 6mo sleept for over seven hours in that combo the other day and not a single leak was to be had. I can't recommend these more if you're cloth diapering your little babe.My only peev is that their shape changes slightly after washing, but it's more of a cosmetic issue as it does nothing to effect the functionality of the prefold/insert, which all I care about. (It's not like anyone is going to see it inside of her diaper lol).

Easy on my baby’s sensitive skin and absorbs great. I use it at night works better than nighttime disposable diapers in my opinion. My 3 month old sleeps longer stretches when I put these on him.

Absorbency is great, but the smell these liners produce when there in urine in it or pooh is very strong, it's a strong fishy odor. Kinda smell like ammonia too that's the only thing I don't like. But over all great product.

These liners are thick and absorbent. They also wash very easily.

The quality has been outstanding on everything we've purchased from Nora's Nursery. No huge differences between batches. Have purchased extra liners a few times now (so much nicer to use double liners) and they never disappoint. Saves us a staggering amount of money, and we just use a bit more water instead of cramming more plastic into landfills. Love Nora's!

I absolutely love these. When my daughter was about a year old, the microfiber in her cloth diapers just wasnt enough anymore. She would soak it within an hour. 2 MF inserts was so bulky the diaper wouldn't fit properly and she was ap squirmy she got compression leaks. I tried the Alva bamboo/microfiber inserts and they were ok. But I saw these and decided to give them a chance. And what a difference! For one, they are SO much thinner than a regular microfiber insert. I started by adding one of these underneath her microfiber insert for a little extra absorbency, and for nighttime I invested in 6 layer bamboo terry inserts. I topped the bamboo terry with a Nora's, put them both in the pocket, put her nighttime diaper on around 8 PM, and when she woke up around 7AM she would have no leaks EVER!Our daily routine of one MF insert and one Nora's worked great but only for about a month or so. Then she hit a growth spurt and began eating and drinking way more. So I ditched the pure microfiber altogether and doubled up on the Nora's inserts during the day. Again, doubling up on these was no more bulk than just one regular MF insert! So the diaper still fit perfectly and we had great absorbency, about 3 or even 4 hours! They do fluff up a bit after a few washes but even still, they are nowhere near as thick as the microfiber. I do 2 washes for diapers: one quick wash on warm heavy soil, Calgon (we have hard water,) and the appropriate amount of Ecos detergent. Then one hot regular wash, with a small amount of detergent extra rinse with cold water. I air dry the diapers on a rack now that its winter and put the inserts in the dryer on low for about 10 mins just to get the excess moisture out. I put them on the rack and they are usually dry by morning. (The bamboo terry is a whole different story. It holds so much moisture, which makes it an excellent insert but takes forever to dry!)I have recommended these insert to everyone I know. Even extremely heavy wetters need that little bit of MF to quickly absorb the moisture, since the heavy Duty absorbers are also slow absorbers. These will fit into any diaper with any insert without adding any extra bulk. The price is great and if you care for them properly they will last you a long time!

Nora’s Nursery has always been my go-to for cloth diapers and inserts. I have 2 packages of the cloth diapers and have repurchased these bamboo inserts two other times. They work perfectly for my sons heavy wetting, and even use Nora’s Nursery’s inserts in other brands of cloth diapers to double up on absorbency. Recently I received a defective package that was missing an insert and within a few hours of making a complaint I had an email addressing the issue. Jen was so accommodating and immediately sent me out a new package of 10 inserts. It’s rare you get to talk to the owner of a company and have them be so respectful and willing to do anything to make their customers happy. I’m incredibly impressed with the professionalism in which it was handled. But customer service aside, these inserts are amazing. There is a reason I’ve repurchased them so many times: they’re VERY absorbent and soft! I’ve always loved this company but the recent complaint that I had resolved in less than 24 hours makes me feel even more confident in purchasing her products for years to come.
