I just received them. Really nice. Made very well. I like that they came with a packet to help maintain the pieces. It took a while to get them but it seems like it was worth the wait.

Love Ziruma products! They do not use toxic glue like other wood manufactured utensils! They are carved from one piece of wood. Had an issue with a tiny chip in one of the spoons and their customer service agent handled it quickly and went above and beyond what was needed to remedy the situation. Would highly recommend these products!

This 7 piece wooden spoon set is just excellent. The quality is just top of the range. Each spoon comes individually wrapped, they are lightweight and easy to use. There is some care needed for these spoons but i think it is well worth it given that they are non toxic. Beautiful set!

I really like this set because it is supposed to be made without toxic materials, and that is hard to find these days. I did a lot of research on similar products for a while before I made my choice and am glad I chose these. My husband also likes them a lot and says they look elegant. So far they are working well!

I really enjoy using this acacia wood cooking utensil set—it’s high quality, feels wonderful in hand, and is a pleasure to use. However, I deducted one star for a couple of reasons:1) The soup ladle could be improved. It’s not as deep or large as I’d like, and the handle is too short. Serving soup takes much longer than it should, especially when dishing out multiple bowls.2) Missing a mixing spoon. I thought the set included one, but realized after receiving it that it didn’t. If I’d noticed this earlier, I might have chosen a different set that better suited my needs. That said, this set is a joy to cook with and adds a lovely aesthetic touch to the kitchen. If the ladle were redesigned and a mixing spoon included, this set would be perfect!

These spoons are lightweight and very comfortable to hold. They don't scratch the non stick cookware as they don't have any sharp edges. All of them came individually wrapped in named brown wrapping paper. There was also a sachet of wax to maintain the spoons.Dishwasher washing is not recommended, but these spoons are a pleasure to wash by hand. I would definitely recommend it.

I love the color of the Acacia wood, the size is right for cooking, very lightweight but the slotted spoon came with an imperfection, it will probably break after several cleanings with water and dish soap but other than that all good.

So far I really love these! I did have something strange happen with one of mine, but the company made it right right away! I like that it is made without toxic chemicals, especially after bad news about black plastic coming out. Feels great in your hand, very sturdy, perfect size, and overall great value for the money. You do have to hand wash them, but it's very easy because of the quality of the product. Good company to work with and great product! Hopefully I won't ever have to change this review! I did have to wait for them to arrive, but they were worth the wait!

I’ve always loved cooking with wooden utensils, especially after learning that plastic cookware can be carcinogenic. I was very excited when I found a real company that sells natural, non-toxic cookware. The wooden set was packaged perfectly. It also came with everything it said it would including the beeswax. The utensils were a tad smelly when I opened them up, but after a few washes, the smell went away completely. The craftsmanship is incredible and holds up to everything I throw at it. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The tools are lovely, yet lightweight and sturdy. They don’t leave any scratches. 100% recommend!

PROS-well made and finished-doesn’t scratch my non-stick cookware (though I wouldn’t use the two spatulas on pans that are very hot)-carved from single pieces of wood (nothing glued together)-I appreciate the little sachet of wax, to maintain their coating as it wears away-lightweight-makes a really nice gift-decent valueCONS-grips are very smooth, could use a little knurling or something else to make them grippierNOTES-these will require maintenance, so if you’re used to metal or plastic utensils, keep this in mind (you can’t wash them in the dishwasher either, and don’t let them soak in water).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Arrived packaged in a box and paper packaging with a label for each type of utensil. They appear to be quality, single pieces of wood and come with a care guide and initial wax to keep them protected. Wooden utensils require more specific care but are safe on all pan types. We're excited to throw out all of our plastic cookware. I am hopeful that the spatulas have enough of an angled taper that they will work to flip things like eggs or pancakes but haven't put them to the test yet.
