Ti's was sold as an angel food cake pan but it is too small for a regular angel food cake mix. The mix wouldn't all fit in the pan and what it did hold overflowed the pan and burned all over the oven! Itook it back to Anazon in Kohls asking for a refund & the VERY NEXT day, they deliver an identical pan. The return form won't give me Kohls as an option to return it AGAIN! This is crazy! I can't get rid of it! Don't buy this pan!

I ordered this for my mom to use when she came up to visit this past Thanksgiving (2023). She is famous for her pound cakes but didn’t want to haul her pan with her on the train.After making her cake, she loved this pan so much that she asked me to get one for her to use at home. That says a lot because if something works well for her, she’ll keep it forever because she sees no spend money to change it. She had one of those thick, old school, cast-iron looking ones and it’s served her very well over the years. But this pan was the game-changer for her.So, if you need a new cake pan at a good price, this is the one right here.

Another cake pan that I had like this actually came in two pieces so the you could loosen the sides, slide the cake out, and then cut the top loose if necessary. This pan doesn’t do that; it’s all one piece, so you need to grease and flour it well if you want the cake to come out. Otherwise, the top sticks and tears.
