They cave in with little weight applied. They do not always “lock” into place correctly, or at all. I weigh 120 lbs and stepping on them feels like a gamble. The plastic bends and wobbles.

My daughter has a slightly lofted dorm bed and isn’t allowed to have upholstered furniture in her dorm per fire code. We got this instead of those cute ottomans a lot of girls have. It is sturdy, folds easily, and is much cuter than a lot of the other folding step stool options.

It’s a little nerve wracking when stepping on it. Sounds like it’s going to collapse. It might just be the sound of the joints…..but scary non the less.

This stool is 1” higher than most I found, opens and folds up easily, has an attractive design and, most importantly, fits on the top step next to our RVs bunk beds so that shorter folks can get into it! It will also be doing double duty in the living/kitchen area to allow those same shorter people to get into the cabinet over the refrigerator and to reach some of the top shelves. Absolutely perfect for our needs.

It’s the perfect height and very stable. Has non slip grip on legs. It’s super cute for a farm house decor. The only thing I’m not liking about it is that if I put my weight in the center it gives way a little and makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, like it could give way under me. I weigh 145#. I have other very similar stools and they are completely solid when I step in them. Otherwise I love the stool.
