Super deal for an on-board battery charger. Great charger that charges and maintains batteries when not in use. Compact and does not require much space. Simple to use, plug in and you are done.

I have had various versions of this charger for years and they never disappoint. Highly weather resistant and keep working flawlessly after an accidental drop. Easy to use and I can see the batteries status across the shop.

Bought this due to upgrading my old trolling motor batteries to Lifepo4 batteries. Installation was easy. The charger came with good instructions. The price is great, too.Since installing this a couple of months ago I an adding a third Lifepo4 battery to the boat and will be swapping this charger out for a 3 bank. I was going to add a single bank charger to the 2 bank, but decided to do the right thing and buy a new 3 bank. Had the 2 bank not worked so well I would not buy this new one.

First off, this is my 6th NOCO product and all have been awesome. Great chargers, boosters, etc. Quality and performance has been superb! This GEN 5X2 forced me to have to use their customer service, warranty, etc. which has also been stellar. These GEN 5X2 dual bank chargers seem to have a common issue with one of the banks failing. One bank, mine was the second bank that failed, blinks between the charge bar and the standby lights. No matter the battery, the fuse, the connection, etc. A way to test it is to use a multi-meter to test for continuity between the positive and/or negative battery lead on that bank with the a/c power cord prongs - all disconnected, unplugged, no power, etc. The good bank will have some continuity like 36-37ohms. The bad bank will have nothing, pure open circuit. If it happens within the return with Amazon then use that. Otherwise, if its under the 3yr warranty then use no.co site to contact customer service for a warranty claim. Mine was after the 30 day return window. Initially buying it we only had one battery on our boat, knowing we were getting a second house battery. A couple months later we installed a second house battery on our boat and connecting the second charger bank, it immediately started the dreaded blink between the first charge indicator and the standby light, so that bank never worked. Not sure it is an immediate fail for others but was for ours.NOCO customer service was quick and easy. I reached out late at night with their request a call option on their website. The next day got a couple calls because I didn't have my phone near me, an email with troubleshooting steps, and next steps for a warranty claim. They'll let you ship it in and wait for a return after receiving and testing the failed unit. Or, they'll let you buy a replacement from their website - which was cheaper than here on Amazon - and refund the purchase once they've receive the return faulty unit and test it to verify the unit is faulty. I chose this option for a quicker replacement.4 stars mainly for the unit failing but definitely love their products and am now a fan of their customer service. I'll follow up with review if the replacement unit fails and drop stars. If all is well, I think 4 is sufficient for an otherwise great product and company but consideration for this mishap.

This was easy to install. I’ve hooked it to two marine batteries to keep them at peak performance over the winter. I like that it will only maintain a charge when needed based on digital monitoring.

My problem with it that it doesn't come with quick connect end, only with terminals. Not sure what am I going to solve this problem now as all my cars are with quick connect.Other than that, this's my third NOCO charger so it's amazing.

Every time I plug in this charger I smile inside (and possibly outside:) . At first, I had intended to use it for both my Boat and my Vanagon. Now, because of its convenience, I have decided to purchase a second unit for the van. Its ability to charge different types of batteries, display their charge status, run maintenance cycles, it's waterproof for splashes or spills; everything I've been searching for in an onboard charger... Great product, I highly recommend it to those hunting for convenience and robust quality. It feels like and appears to be, build to last.

Fitted this in my boat, (as it has 2 batteries). It's an extremely high quality product that keeps the batteries in tip top shape via the mains. I'll be hooking it up to a solar panel next, so I'll update here when I know the results.
