This was very easy to apply to the windows and gives great privacy while still allowing light to come through. The bamboo design is beautiful. I measured incorrectly but the product was easy to trim with a razor blade

I bought this for my patio doors for three reasons, privacy looking in, I still want natural light, and to hinder the line of sight of my dogs inside and the squirrels out back ( they lose their minds and are very vocal). I just put it up today and will update if any fails...First, the vinyl is thick, I prefer this because I do have pets. Second, buy longer than you need. The roll was about 4 inches longer than I needed (it's easier to cut than add). This actually worked to my advantage because the 2 inched at the beginning of the roll ( since it's thicker material) didn't want to adhere to the window. I trimmed off the 2 inches of the curled side, perfect. I only wish I did that with the first panel, lol.Third, don't use window cleaner to clean the windows first, this may alter the consistency ( I used Meyers muli-surface spray) and a microfiber cloth.Next, put 2-4 drops of dishe washing liquid in a your water spray bottle, this will help it "bond" to the glass.Last, I used a coffee gift card to get out the air bubbles, it worked better than my actual squeegee. Hope this helps. BTW, I did this solo and I'm old. 😁

I have used many types of window film over the years. Many years ago they were one try and done (they became part of the window and could not really ever be removed.) Now, most are made to be removable and are easy to apply with soapy water and a squeegee. This film, however, was not flat and did not adhere well when I tried to use it. The film itself is textured, and did not stick to the surface like a flat film would have. Also, it did not give a look that people would mistake for actual stained glass, as the bumpiness and inability to adhere flatly to the window, made it look like what it is: plastic paper up against the glass.

Liked the product however part of the roll had a number of creases which couldn’t be smoothed out resulting in loosing 24inches

This is for the BRICK pattern. It was a good price compared to the other films I've purchased and I really like the colors: soft greens, light blues, cream and tans. Definitely no dark browns as pictured in the photos. If you mentally picture the dark browns shown as more of a milkier brown, that's what it looks like. The buildings within view of my bedroom windows are made of brick that's sort of a light orangey tan, so it turned out that having this on my window for privacy also goes well with the walls outdoors - nice bonus.I also like the width of the roll (17.7") because I wanted the film to cover only the bottom half of my windows so it worked out perfectly for me. The brick pattern runs the length of the roll. So assuming you have windows taller than 17.7" and you want the brick pattern to sit horizontal, you'll be stacking strips of the film on top of each other. A note about the display photo: I roughly counted the horizontal rows and it shows 17 (counting in the center from bottom to top). When I count the same way for the film on my windows, I only come up with 13 rows.As for transparency, you can't see through this film at all. It cuts back on glare without noticeably dimming the light entering the room. I have one window that faces the afternoon sun and the light coming through the film isn't predominantly blue-ish as you might expect; it's more a soft orangey rose .. or rosy orange LOL not sure how to describe it, but it's not very noticeable and is pleasant. No rainbows, glowing colors, or anything of that nature. Finally, the (minor) con: I've used other window films which were heavier and so were a little easier to work with. This stuff must have stretched a bit when I was shifting it on the window because when I accidentally cut a section too short and had to add a slice it was a bit iffy matching the edges. It wasn't too bad though and I'd definitely buy this brand again.
