I recently made chicken fajitas, cooked up some extra bell pepper slices and cooked diced beef for tacos. All came out tasting great, had a little char and did not stick to the griddle plate (no oil or butter used). Clean up was a breeze afterwards. I will get plenty of use out of this. I recommend.

I bought this griddle for my Ninja Woodfire Pro Connect XL grill/smoker. This griddle fits the grill perfectly and adds so much versatility. My husband and I are both in our late 70's, and have been retired for a few years. Whether you are retired or not, I'm sure you know that life too often gets to be too routine and boring. What could be more fun than cooking breakfast outdoors and enjoying it outside? This griddle is large enough to cook a breakfast for two including hash browns, sausage or bacon, and eggs all at one time. Sure there are timing issues since some of these cook faster than others, but then you would have the same issue in separate pans on the kitchen stove. It also does a good job on pancakes with eggs and sausage. In to cooking breakfasts, this grill works great for burgers. after the burgers are turned and almost done, put cheese on them and close the top to melt the cheese. Cook steaks with onions and mushrooms on this griddle. After the steaks are done on one side, turn them and put the onions and mushrooms on top of them. I like to top this with crumbled blue cheese and close the top to melt the cheese. You can also make panini sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches and anything else you can make on a griddle.I do have a Ninja indoor grill and griddle that I use often, but this this griddle is much larger so I can cook more at one time without crowding. Besides all this, I cook indoors most of the year, and this griddle helps to add a little fun to my daily cooking. At least at my age, fun is a good thing.I hope this review was helpful for you.

supposed to be ceramic. just don't understand. it is easy to clean after first use, but don't try to leave it sit overnight while the machine is cooling and try to get the crud off of it the next day

This is perfect for turning my new Ninja Woodfire grill into a griddle for doing smash burgers. Nobody likes traditionally grilled burgers that shrink into a meatball unless you use dry lean beef. Get some 80/20, form it into a 4oz ball, place it on the hot griddle in a puddle of sizzling butter, smash it with a burger press or a sturdy spatula and one of those papers, season it and close the lid with the woodfire mode enabled to get some smoke flavor in there. Then flip it with a plastic spatula and finish it off with some cheese. This ninja griddle plate heats very evenly. I’m able to do six at once on the XL model and they all cooked at the same speed. It does take some time for the heat to build back up after one round, so what I do is make six patties, take them off and stop the cook and scrape all the grease to the back where it drains down that hole so easily, even burnt cheese bits drop right through. I start another cook and toast my buns on there when the butter sizzles but doesn’t immediately brown. Six burgers are then ready for plates and if I have more to make it’ll just be 15 more mins.Cleaning is so easy. I preheat it back up to high again and use a wet sponge grill cleaner. Anything that’s burnt on the surface loosens right up and goes down that drain into the disposable drip pan liner. Then when it cools off it just needs light washing or even just a wipe-down.
