It was slightly loose but with a double side tape wrapped around, it fitted perfectly. Now lot of lights during night reverse

I have a stock trailer hitch on my Lexus GX470 (same hitch as Tacoma, 4 Runner) and this product will not fit around the hitch. The largest part of this product will perfectly fit around my hitch where the smallest part is supposed to go.I tried this product on a smaller after market hitch on my 2nd Gen Tacoma and it seems like it could fit if iI clearance it a couple mm.If you have something like a Jeep that has a very low tow rating it might fit but it wont fit any reasonable tow hitch for a midsize compact or full sized truck or suv. If the chain hooks arent in the way that is....All in all its great concept and the product has a great finish and its made of high quality aluminum... just wont fit any strong tow hitch with thick walls or gussets.

Try to install hitch two wayS But it’s still wouldn’t fit. I could install it however I would have to remove the sides to make it flush and just have the top and the bottom hook or drill. Screw to lock it in place but I don’t like either one of them for one. It’s not a simple install.

Looks nice and heavy duty, finish is perfect. My problem, which is probably unique, is that it is too fat to fit between my hitch and bumper. Probably not a problem in 99% of installations.

This is plenty sturdy to mount pod lights great for the money. I bought this and unfortunately could not mount it to my vehicle because i dint have enough of my receiver sticking out from the where the tow chains would hook up. I was hoping this would have saved me from having to fabricate and weld bracts to mount my lights. If it was steel i still would have welded it to receiver but it is made of aluminum. I could have still made them work by cutting and relocating the tow cain brackets but by the time i do that it will be easier to just fabricate and weld brackets to my hitch for the lights. Even though this didn’t work out for my application it is still wort trying to see if it fits your vehicle. Also it would have fit my 2’’ receiver perfectly without any wiggle or movement.
