I ordered this not expecting much but was suprised when I opened the box. It's definitely packaged well and mine came with a Nikon cleaning cloth. The adapter fit the B500 perfectly snug and all 3 lenses thread into it just fine while maintaining It's stock functionality. The included lens cap seems a bit more sturdy than stock, in a good way. I'm looking forward to my next weekend off so I can get out in the daylight (nightshifter š«). For a camera with limited aftermarket lens options, this is certainly a win in my book.

I love this filter, it snaps right on. Be careful as it is plastic. It lets you add any 58 mm filter to the B500.

I have a more expensive Canon camera that takes great pictures. This little Nikon B500 takes great pictures too. However, there are no lenses filter options for my Nikon. This provides filter options for my Nikon at a great price. Iām not too sure about the attachment process, but so far it has worked.

The Nikon D500 series has no thread to screw filters on.I thought the adapter would fit around the outside of the lense. It fits on the inside where a normal filter would screw in.. But there is no thread on the camera to screw anything into, so it is useless as the adapter and lense filters fall off the camera. The whole point of an adapter is because according to Nikon you can't put lense filters on because there is no thread on the camera. I thought when I looked at an illustration of a previous adapter kit, which has been discontinued, there was an adapter that obviously went around the barrel of the lense and it reduced down to a filter. That seems s good idea. This product is next to useless.I will make do by using some superglue to hold the adapter in place. The lenses are the same size and they fit into the lense nut fall out because there is no thread. The whole point of having to buy a lense adapter is that it removes the problem. The lenses are the same size as the adapter and this renders the item useless.Everyone who buys this will have the same problemMaybe you should include a tube of glue with each of these...Not happy...

I have not taken many pictures with it, so I cannot attest to its optical performance. But it just does not fit snugly enough on the B500. It falls off with the slightest movement. Accordingly, I never take it out of my camera bag, which I do not actually carry with me most of the time. The day may come when I am glad I bought it, but so far it is of no use to me.

Worked as intended. Good value for price paid. Had no problem with it coming off camera which we were concerned with.

This is a good little kit of filters. The adaptor fit like a glove, and is completely invisible in all focal lengths. The adaptor snaps onto the lens, and is solid and immovable.

Let's be realistic. This kit allows you to do an otherwise impossible job...put a filter on a b500. The other choice is to hold the filter, by hand, in front of the lens. My adapter fit perfectly, the lenses screw onto the adapter. There are set screws on the adapter, but mine is a good friction fit.If you need more than this, you probably bought the wrong camera.

The lens themselves are perfect and function as they should. The protective case they come with is also nice. The only complaint I have with it is that it puts all sorts of lint and thread bits on your lens.My complaint is with the adapter for the Coolpix B500.Granted they have done the best they can with a camera that isn't lens/filter compatible by itself, but the adapter leaves a lot to be desired. I think breaking the adapter up into 3 different sizes(small, medium and large) would be more beneficial than just having the 2 different sizes(Small and Large). The small adapter allows very little zoom with any lens or filter. The large adapter allows 100% zoom but you have to zoom in all the way to get rid of the black outline from being able to see the inside of the adapter. I work in the 50% zoom area and really wish there was a medium adapter size.

Requires that you put the short tube on the front of your camera using two set screws. The filters attach to that tube. Then if you want to zoom closer than about 20x you have to remove the filter(s) from the short tube, add the long tube, and put the filter(s) on the long tube. If you leave the long tube on and zoom back out you see the long tube in the picture which is now an perfect circle. Very inconvenient to use if you zoom in and out a lot.
