I love these brushes. This is the second set I got from this brand.The brush part is perfect. It holds shape, and holds a good amount of paint. I use them with PBN and I love how precise they are even on the smallest cells.BUT the silver part of the brush is a little bit loose on ALL brushes. I think they will eventually fall off. I’m making sure I don’t leave them in water at all because I’m sure if I do they won’t last.

I picked this set of filbert brushes because the bristles were shorter than other brands. I figured the shorter bristles would be stiffer than longer bristled brushes. I like the stiffer bristles for more detailed work. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Be sure to read the instructions before using the Nicpro 10 PCS Flat Paint Brush Set. The brush hairs are coated to keep their shape when new, and the coating needs to be removed before using. They worked very well when I used them to brush acrylic paint on MDF board. They are easy to clean and appear to hold up well, but time will tell. I like the variety of bush sizes (widths) offered in the 10-pack, and that each brush is numbered to indicate its size.

Soft synthetic brushes best for watercolour and Gouache. But doesn't hold lot of water. Could be used for sharp controlled strokes rather than washes

Amazing quality for the price. You just can't beat it. The range in size is literally every brush you need outside of really huge ones so it's a great set for beginners. They don't hold too much or too little water, and you can get absolutely beautiful strokes effortlessly. My one tiny complaint is that while the larger brushes have an incredibly sharp point, the smaller ones, especially the tiny detail ones, have more of a blunt tip. You're actually able to get a MUCH thinner line using the larger brushes with light pressure than it's possible to get with the tiny ones. Mildly annoying, but since I can achieve those hair thin lines with the larger ones I don't care, just something to be aware of. All in all, fantastic set for beginners and pros alike.
