Was surprised that the funnel was loose on the large brush. Usually Folk Artist is an excellent brand. I was able to tighten it and used the brushes this evening to paint a picture. Brushes hold an incredible amount of water, comfortable to hold and gave nice smooth strokes. Quality control should have noticed that the brush was loose. Oh well.

when i do projects with mod podge, i like having a comfortable and efficient brush to use when applying it to paper. this set of 3 is perfect.

I needed some brushes to use in a dry brush technique on a plastic statue. The statue is brown and I wanted to put gold highlights on it. I used gold metallic acrylic paint with the widest brush. I am so happy with the results! These are very good quality brushes. The bristles are tightly fastened. The handle is comfortable to hold. It was very easy to clean with soap and water from the acrylic paint. I got it squeaky clean, and I’m hanging it by the handle to dry. I’m glad I bought these brushes. I’m sure I’ll use them again for other projects.

I would not necessarily recommend these to a serious artist (they could work - but I don't know as I used them for a simple project), but for basic crafting, they fit the bill. I used them to paint baby pumpkins for the autumn and Halloween season. They turned out great! The price is really fair! You get three brushes. I only used the smallest one.Tip: To extend the use of your brushes, rinse them thoroughly after use, making sure they are completely free of all product, and then dry before storing. I was able to get through about a dozen pumpkins with just one brush, and said brush is still in decent shape. Give these a try! Great for simple crafting and basic projects, as well as for children.

My granddaughters enjoyed the different size of brushes. They each had theor own set and each brush was used. Brushes held paint well and a great value for the price. Will order again.

I bought these combined with a purchase of Red Brake Caliber paint. Amazon had it as a suggested combo package and I'm glad I did. These brushes worked perfect in the painting process in getting to the small detailed areas and they cleaned up great with mineral spirits to complete the job that required multiple coasts of paint. They shipped fast & were a great price too!

I bought these to use for acrylic paint and varnishes on my air dry clay plates. They worked perfectly! Not one bristle fell out when I was using them or when I was washing them (and I scrubbed them pretty hard and separated the bristles for a thorough cleaning). The edges were also stiff enough to clean up globs on the side of the plates and reach inside corners. Great quality, great price. Would definitely buy them again.
