About this item

  • BLACK FABRIC PAINT: Nicpro Black Permanent Fabric Paint with pump, easy to squeeze out, is in 33.8 fl oz, 1000 ml bottle. The black paint is easy to mix with other vivid colors, providing ample options for artistic expression. Great choice for art enthusiasts, newbie and professionals. No heating required
  • KEEP FABRIC SOFT: Choosing fabric paint designed for fabrics allows the color to adhere firmly to the fabric fibers, ensuring a long-lasting effect. Essential for items that are used and washed frequently, such as clothes, bags and accessories. Fabrics in new colors will become soft after washing (slight fading in the first wash)
  • VERSATILITY: Black Fabric paints offer versatility in application, allowing artists to explore various techniques and surfaces beyond traditional painting on canvas. Whether used for freehand designs, stenciling, block printing, or fabric dyeing, these paints provide flexibility to create intricate patterns and textures on different types of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, denim, and more
  • WATERPOOF AND FADE RESISTANT: One of the key features of fabric paint permanent is its water-proof properties. Once applied and dried, fabric paint forms a protective layer on the fabric surface, making it resistant to water damage. This attribute ensures that the colors remain vivid and the designs stay intact even after exposure to moisture, whether through washing or environmental conditions
  • UNIQUE STYLE: Fabric paint enables individuals to personalize their clothing and textile items with unique designs, logos, or messages. From customizing t-shirts and tote bags to embellishing home decor items like pillows and curtains, fabric paint offers a creative outlet for expressing individual style and preferences

I'm surprised with this black fabric paint. It works perfectly for most craft and even on canvas. It's a bit thick but can be watered down a bit with water without sacrificing it's consistency and vibrancy. It applies smoothly on most fabric, and dries without feeling rough or stiff. It doesn't bleed through nor cracks after ample time of drying. It's a bit on the pricey side but will recommend given the overall quality.

This was more "gluey" than expected and required multiple coats, but for my specific purpose it worked well enough.

This product truly deserves to have five stars. The amount of paint you get for the price is an amazing deal. The qualities of the paint such as how dense it is and how flexible it is make it even better. The designs made with this hold up well even in the wash and also when wearing. The only complaint I have is that you do need to do multiple coats of the white in order to get it to be the shown clearly enough. Finally, the pump makes it simple to use and mix with other colors.

This is an excellent fabric paint! It's thick, goes on smoothly, and covers well. It also blends well with colored fabric paint. I have not added straight dye to it yet, but that should work just as well. So far it's durable when washed, and I haven't observed cracking. This paint will probably become a staple in my crafting cupboard. Also, the enclosed pump operates smoothly and reliably. It is a very nice bonus, especially if, like me, you choose to transfer your fabric paint into smaller containers. Just be sure to plastic wrap the head of it well or it will clog.

I have had so many ideas for painting on fabric but when I use acrylic paint alone the results are varied. It was recommended to me by a fellow artist to use white fabric paint to lay down a background for where and what I would be painting and that would help my painting to set and stick. They also suggested that I could mix my colors with the white fabric paint and just start painting like normal (but take in consideration that the white of the fabric paint would lighten up the colors I would use). So, I have tried this white fabric paint and made some small paint swatches and when they dried they both looked amazing! I could not believe it that this little step using the white fabric paint was what I was missing.

If you are trying to paint over anything, be prepared to paint more than 1 coat. It has the look of craft glue when you apply the first coat. You can see every individual brush mark and stroke-- not a forgiving paint at all. Also, the pump top always seems like it will be so much more clean and a real time saver. But, then you don't use the paint for a day or two and the next time you press down on the pump, paint sprays in every direction except where you are aiming it-- it somehow always finds my most expensive accessories or laptop bags or shoes to spray onto. The pump ends always get clogged, and I should know better, but just stop making this a "feature."
