It’s cheap and niche. The locking mechanism is a bit slippery, the rods are a bit rough, it’s takes some fine tuning.But once you get it tweaked and locked to what you want, it’s not terrible.

The pad itself is nothing special. It's very cheaply made and probably won't last too long. But the rail raiser is a winner. I operate a Blackmagic 6K Pro and the rail raiser enables me to have the camera body with built-in monitor in front of me. I don't need to buy an external monitor given that the monitor on the Blackmagic 6K Pro is already great.

This shoulder pad that includes the rails and rail raiser is perfect for any rig you want to put on your shoulder. You can choose whether or not you want to have the camera inline with your shoulder by removing the rail raiser, or if you prefer to have the camera more inline with you head, you can just keep the rail raiser on and either position it down or up. This makes it perfect for needing to make quick adjustments when filming without having to use any tools. Overall, this exceeded my expectations. The should pad is comfy. If you do buy this, you might want to consider getting counter weights so that weight is distributed equally on both the front and back.

This product is well made and feels good to use. It's easy to take off and on when it's time to breakdown or setup. And it's light so my rig doesn't weigh me down.

I built a shoulder rig with 15mm rods for use with DSLRs, the Canon Cinema EOS line, and other similar-sized cameras. The shoulder support has served me well for several shoots and has a comfortable (removable) foam pad. I just wish it had come with the necessary hardware to mount the shoulder support directly underneath the camera as well as sticking out behind it, as I'm having some trouble re-configuring my shoulder rig so the camera sits directly on my shoulder.Overall a good investment for me so far.

The build on this is pretty great! The cheese plate is a nice touch. I wish the rails that were included were longer, as you can always have them extend out back or in front. The shoulder pad is somewhat narrow for me, unfortunately, but for the price it’s very hard to beat.

nice and solid made, I with the rails were a little longer to attach balance weights. I will just get longer rails.
