I've owned several rowing machines, but this machine is simply the best. It's easier to assemble, has a solid metal build and costs only about $120. More: It provides the same great rowing workout I've had with other machines, takes up less space (53" long), and is much lighter. A great buy.

This thing is awesome. I bought one to use because of the double benefit of building muscle in my upper back and arms and for the cardio. It basically cane 90% assembled and I just needed to put some pieces together, tighten some screws, and then row away. I started using this at 305lbs (currently at 285). I am 5'9" and this rower accommodates me nicely. It's quite sturdy for only being 20lbs in weight itself. I've used it for 3 months almost everyday and have built decent muscle in my arms, shoulders, and upper back using the different resistances for it. I like to start at a lower level then progress to a higher one as I get warmed up. And changing the resistance is a breeze, literally turn a nob backward or forward, no need for outlets. Quality rower for how cheap it is 120$ seemed like a steal. I bought my mom one for Christmas, she loves it too. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointed that it does not fold down like the photo shows. There’s no way to store it in a 1 ft square or get it to stand up like the brand photos. Definitely false advertising. Also, many of the review photos & videos are of a different model. This machine has a straight arm bar, not the two rowing style arms.Other than that, it’s a simple, lightweight machine that works well for what I need.Still have it 4 stars because it works great for an inexpensive machine.

This rowing machine is a great little row. It was very easy to put together. Just a few screws. I am 63 and I did it myself. The machine is lightweight to move around yet sturdy enough to do what it needs to do. It's quiet and I feel a good value. For the price you can't beat it. I am 5'3" and weigh 130lbs. I am very comfortable while rowing and I do feel it throughout my body. It is not huge but has a smooth operation. It gives a good workout in the comfort of your home. I would recommend!

I purchased this unit because it was a simple design .its easy to set up but falls short on quality. The seat trolley is rickety and unstableThey have two rollers on the top of the rail and only 1 roller below .so the seat wobbles & feels like it’s going to topple or break the seat !Second issue ; you cannot pin or lock the seat to stop it from rolling . The result your fighting trying to put you feet onto the footrests while while the seat is forcing you down the trolley shaft . It’s ridiculousA simple quick release snap pin that would hold the seat steady until your ready. It’s sad it a good unit except needs a little more thought to how you use it.I don’t intention return it and have found a way to tighten the trolley and pin the seat. Now it safe .

This rower is damn good, because it's small enough for an apartment and it only literally took me less than 10 minutes to put together because it's practically already put together. There's certainly enough resistance for a decent workout. The action on it is smooth and to be frankly honest with you it's more than I expected. If you have a home gym and a small apartment or an area in your den or garage, this would definitely be a great addition especially for the price. It's very simple and it's not fancy and it gets the job done. I've used it for up to an hour on a warm day and though it heats up it still stands up to my workout and maintains the resistance. Of course it's supposed to get hot due to the friction and the motion of the components but the main thing is it actually holds up. It's not loud at all.

63 year old woman here. I've been using this machine for 45 days. Here are my observations:Pros:Assembly: Super easy to assemble. I was able to assemble it myself in about 15 minutes. Instructions were easy to follow and the assembly parts were clearly marked and the screws etc. were shrink wrapped and clearly marked. One of the easiest assembly projects I've had.Weight: This is surprising light weight and extremely sturdy. I'm currently in between two residences and I'm able to easily carry it out to my car (Honda CR-V) and drive it back and forth, carrying it back into the other residence. I've been doing this for the first 45 days and I've had no issues. Odd as this sounds, it's almost portable. Would be nice if there were an additional component to fold it up, but otherwise, it's so lightweight, you could take it anywhere, provided you could fit it into your car. It's about 4 1/2 feet in length for reference.Use: I've never used a rowing machine before, so I'm a beginner. I've been able to slowly work up to 50 minutes, every other day. The unit that keeps track of time, rows, calories is easy to read. It flows with my movements and doesn't feel awkward - extremely easy for me to use. I'm also able to adjust the resistance and feel confident I'll be able to increase my resistance and increase my upper body strength over time - a fitness goal of mine.Possible Cons:I'm extremely short (5 foot, 2 inch). It's perfect for my size. That said, someone who has longer legs may have issues? Not sure if the height of the hand bar section is adjustable? Doesn't seem to be? Sorry - I already threw away the instructions because it was working for me. If this is inaccurate, please let other reviewers know.10,000 count - once you hit 10,000 total rows, it resets to zero. Minor complaint - it would be nice if it supported a 5 character mask.I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

I don’t have much to compare it with but this rowing machine is just like it’s described.Light weight but sturdy; seat is comfortable and super quiet, and the tension is easily adjusted.Hubby put it together and I didn’t hear him swearing so it probably was easy.I’d recommend this.
