Bought for a yfz 450 and the first ride the blue inserts melted...had to pick them out to not cause other issues...other than that is keep my son from burning his leg but does not lessen any heat.

My son kept getting burnt from his exhaust muffler on his dirt bike. For some reason his bike had no protection between the muffler and his leg. So I took to Amazon and came across this add on accessory.Package arrived and we instantly installed it. Instillation was fairly simple and straight forward. Not only did it look cool but it worked perfectly to provide heat protection from the muffler on his leg. He hasn’t gotten burned once since we installed this shield. So be it for looks of functional protection, this works perfectly.
