We are moving and are using quite a bit of packing newsprint! This particular package is very low quality. Every other piece of paper is 6 inches shorter and if I wanted shorter paper, I would’ve ordered it! Stay away from this particular manufacturer!

While this is decent quality newsprint for packing and wrapping, I had hoped (based on photos and other reviews) that this was the thicker, shiny paper that is sold as packing paper. I like it better for packing and wrapping, and I like using the leftovers in crafts. This is just regular newsprint (haven't found a single glossy sheet) and it's about the thickness of a regular printed newspaper. It'll get the job done, but it's not what I was hoping to receive. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but they only allow whole star ratings and 5 is reserved for when I find that best quality packing paper.

SO much better than bubble wrap. You can custom fit ANYTHING in a box with this stuff. I just moved 1200 miles and everything I packed with this paper came thru totally perfect. I ended up not even using the bubble wrap I bought.....

It feels like a tiny bit thinner than newspaper. The pricing is great, and works well to protect things from scratching each other for packing. You may have to use more sheets if you were looking to protect things from breaking - which then doesn't make this the most affordable option.

I buy this for two reasons, packaging and photography. I've purchased it twice so far and will be ordering it again only because I need cheap paper for packaging. The reason for the lower rating is that this paper is very inconsistent in both color and weight. Some sheets are very thin (like newspaper) while others are very thick (like... thick printer paper, I guess). None of it is white. Some sheets are grayish, some yellowish. This is all within the same order too.Why is this a problem? Well, I don't care about the presentation aspect of this paper because I use it as stuffing in packages rather than wrapping for the actual items. I use tissue paper and poly bags for the wrapping part. So no matter what this paper looks like, my packages look the same and my customers are none the wiser. However, when I am packing things up I have to be more aware of which sheet I am grabbing. If I need a thinner piece that is gentler on the product or won't fill as much space, then I have to find one of the thin pieces. If I need to fill a lot of space and not have it shrink down more in transit then I have to make sure to use the thicker pieces. Or sometimes I just have to use twice as many sheets of the thin to fill the same space as the thick (or rip a thick piece in half to fill less space). It just makes shipping a little more annoying since I don't know what I'm going to get next. Shipping should not be like a box of chocolates.I do use these sheets for flat lays and shoe photography. They work fine but since the colors aren't consistent I have to make sure to always adjust my lighting to accommodate the cooler gray or warmer yellow. Again, not the end of the world but it just makes my already busy days a little more complicated.I would shop around for another product but for this price and the fact that I don't know if a different product would be any better... it's just easier to keep using this product.

Were moving across the country. Although I hate buying “moving supplies” ( I think it should be given freely and then dropped of somewhere so that someone else can reuse it, they then return it when done for the next guy, etc.) I bought this paper to help with the packing of delicate items.. I didn’t realize the quality of the paper mattered until I ran out and ran to the big box store to buy some more. The one at the store is thinner which means you use more to wrap an item and the sheets are smaller. This paper is wider and since it’s thicker, you can use one sheet per item if you can get it completely covered. It also works better as a cushion at the bottom and top of your boxes. The Big box paper cost me 9.99 for 120sheets; however you have to use several per item. The 21.00 for this is a better deal when you consider you can wrap more with less Paper. When I run out of the crappy stuff I’ll be back for more of this paper.
