Good size. Steel is on the thinner side, but still sturdy enough. Bought this because the lettered volume markers on my glass measuring jug scratched off....no chance of that happening with this.

Just received the 8 cup version today. It is very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. I am disappointed that the measurements on mine are not raised numbers like so many of the pictures depict. Mine are smaller and recessed, like they were stamped into it from the inside. It makes them harder to see. Also the "pour spout" is barely there. At first, I didn't think it was there at all. To be fair, I did pour water out of it and it seems to pour well, with hardly any spillage. I'm sure it will do the job I bought it for, but still a bit unhappy that it wasn't as advertised in the pictures.

Love this! Very versatile and so much nicer than plastic and lighter than glass. Great to work with when transferring soups, stews from container to container. And it measures! I've broken 2 plastic ones. This one should hold up. Very nice and light weight in my arthritic hands!

Some craftsman deserves Hall of Fame entry for combining fabulous form with fierce function. Because this Beauty is also a Beast, capable of taking the worst that we can throw at it. This is not a mere piece of kitchenware. It aspires to loftier usage traveling freely in open spaces and supporting its owners in their camping adventures. We go where, at times, water must be either boiled and (or also) purified with chemicals. Thus, the 32 oz size is ideal. It fits comfortably on a campfire or awaits the addition of aquatabs or some other agent--almost all of which are made to add to A SINGLE QUART OF WATER. "Oh the places it will go!"

I stopped using a personal blender with a plastic cup in order to avoid plastic in what I eat, and looked for an alternative for one-person smoothies. I use this cup with an immersion blender, and it works perfectly.

Used it once to make a protein smoothie using a Vitamix Immersion Blender with ice and frozen fruit. It was a good choice. Not too small and not too big. Should come in handy for other food projects.I used an OXO measuring cup and filled 2 cups and 3 cups and the cup measurements were slightly off. Ounces and cc/ml were right on. I won’t need it to measure exact amounts. I got so I don’t have to use large glass measuring cups or pitchers. Didn’t want. To worry about breaking. Nice quality made product. Feels solidly made.

2 Cup is the perfect size for my treatments. They're very sturdy and have several different measure markings inside. I bought 2! Then I bought the 4 and 8 Cup too. One 8 cup holds my cooking utensils nicely while the other holds fake flower arrangements until I need to measure with it.

I have a number of stainless steel jugs that I use for various projects, but this is by far the best as I like most, it gets wider towards the brim not smaller, making it ideal for using with a ladle as you can put it inside the brim rather than hover over the top, and hence there is no spillage.
