I know it's no longer possible to find new glassware made of borosilicate glass like the old PYREX products. I looked for a replacement for a 1-cup measure, but the new Pyrex model just had too much extra space at the top to suit my taste, as if they took a 12-oz cup and marked gradations on the lower 8-oz section. This Anchor Hocking cup became the closest thing I could find in form, fit, and function, so I would buy it again.

This measuring cup is just as good as pyrex. So far it seems to be holding up well and the lettering is not fading or chipping away. I would purchase again.

This is the perfect size 8 ounce cup for easy measurements. Just like the Anchor Hocking cup I accidentally broke in the kitchen. I like the sturdy glass construction and the easy to read measurements around the cup, not to mention it's small compact size that fits perfectly in the dish washer.

A good solid cup for measuring 1 cup or less, with side markings for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 cup (as well metric units). I would prefer if it also had markings for 1/3 and 2/3 cup instead of the metric, but not a big deal. Also, I don't see any indication that it is Pyrex (heat-resistant) glass, so be careful with sudden large temperature changes -- it might crack.
