Great product and made from good materials. I like the fact that you can switch different ringtones and switch volumes. It works very well and is sensitive enough to pick up movement. I would recommend this to others that are interested end motion detection.

This wireless motion sensor has helped immensely in letting us know if/when my Mother has moved from her bed at night. My Mother has mid stage Alzheimer's and as of late has had a couple of fall incidents, the last fall causing hospitalization for a few days. This sensor has proven itself to be a great value in providing us some added sense of security.Setup and installation of the sensor is easy! The receiver provides coverage throughout our 2000sq home, it has helped to alleviate the fear and anxiety of my Mother getting out of bed.

I ordered this because I am caregiver to a senior relative with dementia. I need to put some thought into where to place it. I would like to have it plugged in to a power source with the USB C cord, so I will need to be close to an outlet. I have a longer cord than what came with the device.I want to place this somewhere so if he starts sleep walking, as he sometimes does, I can hear it and keep him from trying to get out of the door. We haven't gotten special locks put in yet but I guess we will.It seems to be loud enough for me to hear, even with my not perfect hearing. I like that there are several sounds to choose from. I plan to choose the loudest, although the door bell ringing sound would get my dogs barking and that for sure would wake me up.It looks like it will be easy enough to install, and I plan to put it on a wall rather than the ceiling since our ceilings are high....and I do need to be close to an electric outlet. It is small to be so powerful.I will share another photo when I get it installed. We need so many safeguards to protect our loved ones.

I’ve used motion sensors in the past for various purposes, yet I never thought I would be using one to keep track of our dog. Our senior dog likes to wait until we go to bed, before making a run for the basement to do what dogs do. And that’s why I wanted a motion sensor, now I have a chance of intercepting her before she takes care of business. When the alarm goes off, it startles the dog long enough to make her think twice and for me to catch up to her.But enough of that, as you're more likely concerned with how well it works. To test everything out, I set the sensor up to test its voice options, range of motion, detection range and ability to switch from USB power to its battery backup. In respect to the sensor's detecting range, I’m guessing it’s 20+ feet when walking across its path, but maybe half of that when walking straight towards it slowly. This is a characteristic of a lot of sensors. It’s just something to consider when setting things up. It’s better to have something cross the detector's path, then head directly at it.In respect to the detectors transmitting range (not detecting range) the receiver worked throughout my entire single level home, including the basement. I’m not going to include a range in feet as there are too many variables that can influence YOUR outcome, versus mine, suffice to say it was impressiveI do like the sensor's dual power sources, both AC and DC. Albeit the dog sneaking down to the basement might be the least of my concerns during a power outage. Nevertheless it does work.As far as mounting options go, the transmitter bracket can be screwed to the wall or used free standing, while the receiver is either free standing or it could be hung via the keyhole on its backside. The transmitter does have four visible, blue LED lights on it when it senses something, otherwise it’s not showing any LED lights. I refer to this as Burglar mode, so as not to give away its location. The audio output of the speaker was loud enough for my needs. And you can select from several different voices or sounds. I selected the barking dog, not that it’s going to scare anyone, I just liked it.Although I only have a single transmitter, the receiver can be used for more than one transmitter, if you need better coverage. In all, I'm happy with this product. It works as advertised and if things continue to go well with it, I’ll probably add on to it so I can include coverage for the garage.

I am reviewing: Bed Alarms for Elderly Dementia Patients - Wireless Motion Sensor Fall Detection Prevention Devices for Seniors Dementia Alzheimers Assistance Products(1 Motion Sensor + 1 Receiver)This is exactly what I need so that I know when my loved one is on the move. It is easy to set up and you can mount the sensor in different ways. The alarm has choices of different sounds, and different languages, or just a vibration. There are also color choices for a flashing light. The alarm runs for several cycles so if you're asleep, you're sure to hear/feel the alarm. The sensor and alarm run on 3 batteries each (AA and AAA), but the sensor can also be plugged in. The battery is disengaged when using electricity, but engages in the event of a power outage, so you're always on the lookout.
