Bought this for work. And while at first I thought it was a bit pricey, turns out to have been worth it. I had a different brand before and had to resync the device with uevery use, this one stays paired up even though I unplug it and take it home every day, I have a shared laptop at work so I can’t leave it. Even after not being on shift for my 3 days off I still just pop in the usb and flip the switch and it pairs up automatically. Makes scanning badges super easy and now I don’t have to carry around a large, bulky, corded scanner and my mouse. Love that it is both. Makes my life easier. The mouse is a good size and fits well in my hand, it’s light weight when using it as a scanner. All in all great purchase. Do wish it had a built in place to put the usb piece. For now I just keep the box for storage when not in use. No built in storage for the usb is the reason for the 4 stars otherwise it’s a 5

I absolutely love the M9 model. I use it for work in a large warehouse setting and it works great as a wireless mouse and even better as a wireless barcode scanner. Makes my job so much easier and the battery lasts easily 2 shifts of constant use. I’ve tried many similar products but when I saw the mouse scanner combo I had to try it! It’s also great seeing coworkers reaction when I pick up my mouse and scan a barcode loll

Comes in handy at work with the scanner and mouse. Scan is accurate, battery life is good (powers down when not in use) love the size. Small enough to carry in my pocket and comfortable on hand

I did not receive the usb adaptor 2.4Ghz and I was going to leave it as I got the charging cable but is not working and I am not able to pair it to my computer. No instructions provided and not able to make it work

Package arrived on time without any issue. Unit paired up to my PC normally, and I was able to read both QR and 3of9 barcodes out of the box. Outside of plugging it in, no additional setup was required. I use the scanner as a basic keyboard wedge (default setup).The biggest problem I have with the unit is the mouse roller-wheel/button. The wheel is so stiff, that I can't roll the button without pressing the wheel button. This causes Windows to go into scroll mode where the window will scroll when the mouse is moved - very frustrating. My job requires a lot of data entry, and I didn't realize how much I utilized the roller. I might return the unit because of this.Ergonomically the mouse is ok, but not great. A little too narrow for my liking. I'm sure I'll get used to it if I keep it.Don't plan programming the unit either. The instruction only allow you to pair, read battery level, set standby time, and put the unit into normal mode (keyboard wedge) or memory mode. In memory mode, it does allow you to upload, sum and clear data. It would be nice if you could turn off, or control the volume of the beep that emitted on a successful read, or be able to add a carriage return/line feed or tab to the data read.Haven't had to unit long enough to test battery life. I does come with a USB cable for charging.Overall this is a great idea combining a mouse with barcode reader - especially if you do a lot of redundant data entry, and use QR codes for standard text entry, or form filling. I'm surprised more companies aren't doing this.Update:I updated my Star Rating to a 3 Star based on using this unit for about a month. The stiff roller wheel is the primary reason for this setting. Battery life is okay, but nowhere near a normal mouse's battery life. - keep the charging cable plugged in when not in use. I also recommend turning it off between uses.
