I didn't get this for Tik Tok, so maybe I'm not the target buyer? I got this to turn pages in my Kindle app and to play/pause in my music, video, and audiobook apps. I used this with my Samsung Galaxy series phone, which is Android.Instructions - micro font. Seriously, when will people realize that if someone is old enough to need instructions, their eyesight is not great. Also, they only come in English and Chinese. The English version is not written by an English speaker. I.E. "Click on the left page and long press to return to homepage" means "click on the left button to go back a page and long press the left button to return to the homepage".Case - this comes with a little plastic case! That is great! This is the sort of thing that's easy to lose in a bag, and the case makes it easier to find.Pairing - paired and re-paired easily. Long press the middle button to turn on. A tiny light on the side flashes blue, and then it goes into pairing mode. It will connect automatically if you've already paired it.Buttons - a little stiff - you aren't going to accidentally press one. They are also very small and close together, so if you have bigger thumbs, this might be awkward. And now for the apps.- Kindle app – middle button pops into or out of the book. Right & left buttons change pages. Up & down buttons don’t seem to do anything.- Amazon Music app – during a song, middle button switches between lyrics and the picture of the album cover. Right and left buttons change track. Long press of the right & left buttons turns on and off the screen. Double clicking the right button will play/pause. Long press the up and down buttons change the volume.- Camera app – up & down buttons change between regular camera and selfie. Right and left buttons scroll portrait/photo/video. The instructions say, “short press for 2-3 seconds to take a photo", but it’s really just long press the middle button to take a photo. Long press the left button to go to the home screen. Long press the right button to shut down the screen or go to the lock screen.- Audible app – doesn’t seem to work. Long press left to go to the home screen; long press right to shut down or go to the lock screen.- Amazon Prime Video app – doesn’t seem to work.TL;DR: This works fine for my Kindle app, but it's not great for the other Amazon apps. It took me a while to figure out the double clicking will play/pause on the music app, but only one button, and not the center one. I love that this comes with a case. I wish there was an app so I could change the buttons, but none of this type of thing has an app, so I won't subtract a star for that. I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. It's fine, but it's not great.

Originally I thought I could use it for my kindle but no, kindle app on my iPad or phone, yes. Kindle needs a different scrolling system. The instructions are a lil hard to read…tiny print and somewhat confusing. Bottom line: middle button to turn on/off, side buttons to go left/right and top and bottom buttons for Page up or down. Also, long presses do something else (tiny print) and not so long presses to take a picture, thats useful with my phoneI haven’t had any issues with it not responding and battery life seems pretty good so far. there is no way to know when battery is low, so when it dies I guess? I only use it when on the treadmill and it’s lasted several days with 1 hour use per day.It fits on my index finger nicely, I just have to remember which way it faces.

Not quite sure how I feel about this gadget. The buttons are SO tiny that my fat sausage fingers cannot easily distinguish one button from the other. My other criticism is the shutter button must be held JUST long enuf, a millisecond longer and it will lock ur phone!! I wanted something I could use with one hand and not be super obvious but it ends up needing way more attention from both hands that I would be better off using a cheap shutter remote that at least only requires a single hand. Can’t say I would recommend this, given the cost is roughly double other Bluetooth remote options…

So I found these little ring remotes -- and that changed everything! Scrolling? Easier. Controlling videos? Easier. Reading e-books? Much easier! This remote stands out from the pack. All of the remotes do about the same things, but this one has buttons that are a different color. That may not seem like a big deal, but it made a gigantic difference for me. I love having the buttons stand out. If you're getting into remotes, try this one!

I love using this during the day. When I am on lunch, I frequently use this as a page turner for my ebook apps. When I am at home and cooking or cleaning, I will use it to be able to scroll through the recipe page or through videos or songs. It works with most Reels apps I have. And when I am at work, it helps me pause and play my audio books and podcasts. I am finding new uses for it every day. It is worth it for an Android phone.

So I got this mainly for recording videos and taking pictures. I hoped it would be like a wireless controller that controls the camera more thoroughly than it does. It feels nice in the hand and is lightweight. I like how it has physical buttons. I’ve used ones that don’t, and it’s nice to get feedback from an actual button. It would be nice if it were more clearly labeled on the buttons. If you switch hands, the up becomes the down, and the down becomes the up, which can get confusing and slow you down. They could use just the words ‘up’ and ‘down’ to replace the triangles, or ‘U’ for up and ‘D’ for down. This would give the user a sense of direction if they use it with both hands.Besides that, I think this could be really cool once they work out some of the kinks. I would also like to see a little traveling case so it doesn’t get lost. It doesn’t have a loop to secure a lanyard or anything to keep track of it, so a small container to keep it in would be a nice addition. It does come in a plastic case which the item ships in so I guess that could be used, it’s just more of a ‘this is what the product comes in’ vs a ‘this is a dedicated travel case’ if that makes sense. You can see the clear case it comes in in the images.
