Over time table sags in the middle. I have two of them and they both sag causing your cuts to be way off.

I purchased this item a few years ago (disclaimer, I bought it at Home Depot) and have used it without the fence with bearing bits quite a bit. It's a nice table but it stops there. I have used it with the fence to make trim molding and such where I route a long strip and then trim to the length I need and not being concerned with the last inch or two sniping (if you're not sure of that term then please look it up) Venturing out further into my woodworking I started much more detailed work, small, hand held pieces where any sort of blemish or defect on the craftsmanship is noticeable. In my recent adventures with this product, I have been trying to "dial in" precise cuts with little to no success. First, I needed to have precision height adjustment and started looking at router lifts; standard router lifts will not fit this table as the insert is a diamond shape and the industry standard rectangle that wouldn't allow me to purchase and drop in a very accurate router lift. So, unless your router that you adapt to this table has a very accurate height adjustment (mine doesn't), you're not going to be able to easily upgrade this in the future. I was lucky and hit the correct height with a few tries with some scrap wood. Without thinking about the sniping proceeded to ruin about $50 worth of fine hardwood because my fence sniped it (my fault I know, I should have checked with a piece of scrap before going for the "real" cut). After a few days of watching youtube videos and adjusting and testing and adjusting and testing and then some more adjusting and testing; whereas I have got all but the last bit of "snipe" adjusted out of my fence; the plastic frame of the fence and then the plastic subframe of the outfeed fence flex. There's no adjusting "flex" out of it. So, in the end, this is a really nice table and I do recommend it if you're only going to be routing stuff with bearing bits and don't need a fence; it's a great table. If you're going to be trying to do really nice items such as pretty hardwood boxes with unique joinery or other items of such nature you need to look elsewhere as you can't upgrade it with a router lift and the fence is a POS. One last thing, I have a really nice router table for sale, all accessories and owner's manual included first $100.00 takes it, local pick up only. Thanks, and have a great day.

Got this at Home Depot for $99. Assembly was not difficult and it has a number of nice features. For a listing of routers that will fit and features it has, download the users manual from the Home Depot listing for the product (you’ll also see lots of reviews by users).I didn’t have any of the problems some others had — the table was level and the router plate could made level with it. It has a featherboard and miter gauge. The fence is adjustable on the left side out 1/4” with markings in 1/16” for trimming up a board. It came with five throat plates (1/2”, 1”, 13/16”, 1 1/2” and 2”) that should take care of most bits. All in all it’s a well-made and useful addition for home craftsmen (or women). If you’re a professional perhaps you’ll need a table with a metal bed.

The fence isn't straight, the table isn't straight, your routes won't be straight. Going to do some heavy modifications to mine to make it usable. Already threw the box away or I would return it.

Bought this item when I was ready go up my wood working shop. This is one of the best purchases I’ve made. I do have the Ryobi brand router so it went together really easy. It does have predrilled holes for other brands. It does take about an hour to set up and get the table insert flat but it’s up to you to do it right. I did later build a base for it to be a stand alone router table. All my tables and benches in my shop are built to my height, so putting this on top of them made it too high.

This is the worst shop purchase I've made so far. The table insert is impossible to get flat, the two wood guides are uneven thicknesses, making it very difficult to get the alignment perfect, the leading guide board isn't perfectly perpendicular to the base while the trailing guide board is, and the thickness of the base makes it very difficult to use the router lock.I'm not expecting professional quality, but it was far too expensive to be this sloppily built. Every single cut has at least 1 "bump" where I hit an uneven part of the table -- either in the guide or the base -- and all of the adjustments are difficult to dial in.If you want good results, avoid this particular table. I have numerous other Ryobi tools, and they're mostly pretty good, but this table is on my short-list of items to replace.
