I got the 6 pack to mount two 55 Festool tracks and used 2 per track. The holders feel solid fit and finish is pretty good, not perfect. All the product photos show the retainer clip at the top but I mounted mine on the bottom so the track isn't sliding or resting on the track's cut strip. Maybe that caused some of my issues below...When mounting for horizontal tracks I thought I would make the holders plumb using the holder body. When I did that, the base the track rests on (the side with the retainer) was not level. I used the two 'far' holes marking and drilling the top hole first, secured, swung around to find level of the base, and then marked, drilled, and secured the bottom screw. With the first mounted I used a 4' level from the base of the mounted holder to the base of the second holder, marked the top hole position and repeated.I took a star off because 1 of 4 holders doesn't turn very well and keeps loosening when it finally does. When you turn the green retainer its almost like the screw is turning with it rather than just the plastic retainer floating on the shaft under tension.I recommend these for the price and would buy them again.

Need to change backing nuts to a Nylock nut or use thread locker so they don’t keep rattling loose.

I installed them in my van to hold my makita tracks.. Just make sure the screw are tight or holder side will come out.

The supplied button head 1/4-20 bolt that holds the green knob to the holder is improperly sized. First, it is a 1/4-20 x 3/4 length and it is too short to engage the nylon insert nut with the included split ring washer. Second, the counter bore in the green knob is too small for the button head diameter and causes the bolt to turn as you turn the knob. Since the nylon insert never engages the bolt, eventually the knob is going to unscrew and fall off. As expensive as these guide rails are, that’s something you don’t want to happen. You can remedy this problem if you have a few 1/4-20 x 3/4 socket head bolts laying around. Ditch the supplied button heads and split ring washers and use the socket head bolt instead. Just adjust the bolt until the knob will stop in the extents, but still rotate with a little effort. A second work around would be to do as I did. Chuck the supplied button head bolt up in a drill press and file the head until it rotates freely in the green knob. You will still need to ditch the split ring washers. Or you can just pay OTA for the Fast Cap hangers.

I have a set of the name brand as well as two of this spin-off. All work exactly the same. It's fine to save your money, these work equally well.
