Just recieved today. It is polished, but much smaller and duller than the one advertised on Amazon. I should have read the reviews before ordering. Suggest you try a more trustworthy site.

The picture displays a large, iridescent fossil. The one I received is small and dull. Buyer beware.

The fossil portrayed was palm sized The item that cane was the size of a penny. Completely disappointed.

Not as large as the one depicted. Size of a Quarter. Also not as iridescent as pictured. Extremely disappointed. I feel like I was lied too. Size does matter...

The item is much smaller and less colorful than the Item pictured in the listing.(Quarter for size. Picture taken with Pixel 4 XL with Natural color setting and a flash.)

I ordered this 4-27 and finally received it yesterday, 7-28. These things can happen so no direct blame was just happy it arrived. I expected an Iridescent specimen of Ammolite and what I received was basically blackish grey and white, no other colors at all. I have an Ammolite necklace which is colorful and looks like the photos from the seller. This is not like the photos. The size and weight are ok, just disappointed in the lack of color.

While the piece is pretty, it is definitely not iridescent. It is a swirl of white, greys and black, and beautifully polished. I am still able to use it, and if it had been even close to what I ordered, perhaps a shimmer if not iridescent, I would have given a 4 or 5. The word iridescent really needs to be mentioned as only a possibility, a more realistic photo array needs to be shown, perhaps with both iridescent and non iridescent. I don't recall there being any mention of the possibility of non iridescence. I do know that with natural stone, there are no actual guarantees, but I expected and would have been happy with at least patchy iridescence. Also the photo showed an unpolished, unfinished stone, which I also would have preferred.
