Bought this to replace a very loud Xbox 360 slim fan. This fan runs whisper quiet and still blows out hot air from the top vent. However, when replacing, the plastic itself on the fan is too thin for original screws in the console to make a flush fit with the heat sink. I was able to prevent play or excessive wobbling of the fan itself by using appropriately sized washers between the fan and the heat sink. I haven't ran the console for longer than an hour with this fan yet, but I'll change my review if anything bad happens.

I bought a well used Xbox360 that had a worn out noisy fan. I tried cleaning and oiling it, but it was too far gone.After installing this new one, it's nice and quiet now. There were no instructions, but there's plenty of YouTube videos to show how it's done.

Item worked great for a replacement fan that the motor died in the old one.
