I wanted to separate my home office upstairs into its own network, so I am using the Wi-Fi extender as a repeater. Isolation for office devices was made possible by setting up a different SSID, so they can stay away from my main home network. That was quite easy to set up, literally within a few minutes, and a stable, reliable connection was ensured for all work devices. This has been great so far, considering how saturated my home network is with streaming and gaming devices, to make sure speeds are maintained when I go on video calls. The coverage is impressive, too; it reaches my office, which used to have really poor reception. Now, I no longer experience dropouts or lags. It was a relatively cheap solution to give my laptop and the mini pc I use as a server, as well as the other Wi-Fi devices in the office a fast and dedicated connection. With an average of 6 devices connected at all times.

I recently moved into a new home and was wanting wifi to reach my backyard. After doing my own thorough research I landed on and I'm so glad I did because this WiFi extender is one of the best I've ever used. Even better than some you'd find at big box stores! For one, the design is super slick, I love the 4 antenna design. It gives it a modern look and is of course functional. Secondly, installation is super easy, within 10 minutes I had it connected to my existing WiFi. And yes it does in fact extend my WiFi even farther then I expected. It actually goes beyond my backyard! Upon my own testing I have had no issues streaming video or using social media, absolutely no lag whatsoever. Overall it's a solid product I give this a high 10/10 this is great!

I like the compact and sleek design of this extender. It plugs directly into an outlet so it does not take up much space. It has 4 extendable antennas and an LCD status panel on the front. The unit came nicely packaged and was easy to set up and connect to my WiFi network. The extender is dual-band and creates two additional WiFi connections with the name of your home network with 2G or 5G added at the end. I was able to create a pocket of WiFi at the far end of my home in the garage which is the farthest point away from my router. It seems to work best inside of my home with minimal interference from walls. I conducted a speed test and found the extender producing decent bandwidth in this area.

This is the best WiFi extender I have ever used. The packaging is very high quality, and the quick guide makes it a pretty easy setup. I replaced a semi-working Linksys RE7000 that was far more expensive. Having been disappointed with the RE7000 dropping, low speeds, and trouble connecting to the cable modem, I wasn't sure if this would have the same issues. NOPE!After quickly setting it up with my phone near my cable modem, I moved into the living room across the house, which notoriously has bad Wi-Fi connectivity. I set up the CF-XR183 to use both 2G and 5G signals to help improve performance (I hoped). It showed up as its own Wi-Fi ID, much like the Linksys. The interface on the CF-XR183 is just a web page, so it isn't quite as pretty as the Linksys APP, but the available features are great, and there are more options than the Linksys. The signal was great, so I connected a Roku TV in the same room. Finally, I turned on the Roku and connected, then asked others in the house to watch that particular TV all day in the living room. Everyone in the house is aware of problematic TV connection with frequently reduced quality and network spins, so they were eager to give it a try. The next morning, I checked with everyone, and to my surprise, they reported everything was smooth and fast, with no spins. They did not see any instances where the TV turned low quality / fuzzy or network spins. I wish I had this earlier. Now we can finally use the Wi-Fi in the living room!

The extender is very easy to install and works perfectly. Provides good range to keep my whole house connected with great speed as well. I love it that there is no flashing light that is very distracting at night. The LED screen is clear and gives you all the information needed.
