I do not use a machine. I loved the colors and so far it works well for all of the projects I need it for. The carry case is a nice bonus however just make sure it's sealed properly or it may not stay closed. So far so good.

Son de una calidad excelente, tiene buena resistencia y colores muy bonitos y variados, probados en maquina de coser y sin ningún problema.La presentación en su caja organizadora es fantástica para tenerlos ordenados y fácil acceso. A demás vienen con una maya para protegerlos cuando los usas y que no se quede el hilo suelto enredándose con los otros. Muy contenta con esta compra, recomiendo 100%

I use this thread in my regular sewing machine. I first bought a 5000m cone and was hooked. I loved the luster, how strong it was and the price was right too. I wanted more colors. The set was the ticket. Though the cones look small next to my 5000m one I think they will be a great thing to have. Imagine 40 colors ready for any project.The Plastic storage case is worth the purchase. It has a fold down handle and a little, pencil case like, storage compartment on the top. A quality built piece. If that wasn't enough it came with a chalk pen and thread snipping scissors. I think you would pay $20 for the storage case, pen and scissors alone AND YOU GET THREAD TOO. What a present for an sewer

I thought long and hard about ordering this thread set. After weighing the options, this turned out to be the best for me. Price was very good considering buying individual 500m spools from a regular large box store is way more expensive, these are very cost effective, if you do a lot of sewing.The colour selection is great with a myriad of colours to choose from. The thread is quite shiny and vivid in colour and gives a nice sheen to the stitching. It seems fairly durable, hasn’t broken during sewing and appears quite strong, it is quite a fine thread so I was pleasantly surprised at the durability. The storage boxes the spools came in is great. Nice plastic ( if you can call, plastic nice), it quite thick, has a strong carry handle and nice snap closures to keep all the boxes stacked. They are pretty stiff at first to open, so watch your nails! The top box has a storage compartment which came with a nice pair of funky scissors and a marking pen. Instructions are enclosed as well as contact details and email of the company, should you need to contact them. All in all, a super set of thread, which would also make a lovely gift for any sewing fanatic young or old. I am very happy with the purchase and will be buying more thread and storage boxes from this company.
