lo mejor que he probado para cortes en las plantas sea cual sea el tamaño, cortas, pones un poquito de pomada y la planta ni se entera de que le has hecho una herida. SIMPLEMENTE GENIAL viva japon

No instructions in any other language than Japanese, so we put a little on a small tree (not bonsai) that I had to cut all the branches off and just leave the trunk -there was no other choice. A month later it started sprouting leaves!! Not a green thumb but it did the trick! Excited to see how it works on our bonsai.

This is my second or third cutting paste tube I buy and it has worked really well on almost all the cuttings I've sealed.I Usually apply this for small cuts and cutting paste putty for larger cuts.

I just hope the next driver who delivers this item doesn't leave it in a mailbox where it can boil in 106 degree heat, Was it that hard to leave it at the door where it is safe from the heat? Any heat damage is yet to be seen as I haven't used it; even the metal tube was searing to touch; I will edit this review if there is any noticeable damage, as only the plants can tell you in time. It will probably be okay since Japan gets around the same amount of heat in the summer and they probably leave their sealed cuts under the sun to heal. The 5 stars are for the product company's commitment to deliver a high standard of quality items that many bonsai experts swear by.

Easy to use. I did apply 2 coats to achieve a good coating on pruning cuts to some of my bonsai trees.Very happy with this product and would purchase it again in the future.

This entire tube is in Japanese and didn't come with instructions, but all you need to do is take some out of the tube and smear it onto the cut. There is no need for instructions, IMO. Paste is light green but dries to a greeny-grey which blended in perfectly on my Jade bonsai. I used my fingers and had no allergic reaction to the product (and I have lots of allergic reactions to things). Paste is sticky but washes off easily. If you are wary of exposing this to your skin, it would be easy enough to apply this product with a Q-tip. There is no overwhelming smell to this, either. If you find that you need a thicker coat, I would let the first coat dry, then apply a second or third, etc. All in all, a handy little paste!

I got a Shishigashira one day last year that was languishing in the late summer heat on clearance at the local garden center. My first such endeavor, though I had been keeping an eye out for a nice maple for a while, but this was soooo cheap I figured why not...Well, as it turned out, it didn't just need a little shade and care like I assumed; it was suffering from pseudomonas syringae (I'm pretty sure), probably from being stressed from the 100 degree heat and extreme winds we'd had. I almost threw it out, since I didn't want it to spread to other plants. But I tried a last-ditch effort, cutting out the cankers with a pruning knife and getting rid of anything that looked remotely infected, covering the wounds with Kiyonal, and treating with a systemic...And this spring, it started making a comeback! No infection present in the new branching, leaves or buds! The canker hole wounds have healed, except for a particularly large one, which is still covered with the Kiyonal and closing.Once you work with the product a couple of times, you get the hang of it. It's interesting in that it's not thick like the black kind in the metal or aerosol can (which has its uses), it's more... 'oozey', yet sticky, like a mixture of glue and toothpaste. It's not always easy to get it to stay where you put it if a wound is slick and gravity is working against you, but I like that it's a bit gentler and keeps things more flexible and wet while they heal, if that makes sense. I use it on roses and flowers too where the other stuff would be overkill. I bring alcohol wipes or a bottle of alcohol and towels (which you should have anyway for your pruning tools so you don't spread disease) and wipe my gloved finger off, then wipe the tube opening after squeezing some on my finger, which helps keep the messy cap issues to a minimum.

The product it self seems ok, I wouldn’t buy the tube wound seal one again as it has a split in the tube and it leaked in my bonsai box getting all my tools and wire sticky. If they done this product in a tub I would buy it again.
