Absolute killer bonsai shears I ever owned. Stainless steel = no rust in humid conditions, but not as sharp as the carbon steel ones. Still sharp enough to prune my bonsai beauty

I’m very happy with these Bonsai shears. Never again will I have to struggle with dull cutters that don’t cut properly through woody stemmed plants like Stephanotis and yet they make my other houseplant chores a breeze as they are perfected for just this purpose.

I use mine for indoor hydroponics, I have 90 plants and these scissors are a delight to use, from the way they fit in my hand, to the bald length, not to mention how sharp they are... not cutting anything as thick or hard as a bonsai, but they get the job done and they match the theme in my decor for my hydroponic area.

I've been growing bonsai for years and my tool collection is a mishmash of everything from cheap to mid-range store brands to Kaneshin.I put these to a general use, pruning some branches and doing some moderate root work on cuttings I was potting up. The shears are sharp out of the box and very comfortable in the hand with good weight distribution. They work well. It's hard to completely review the quality of metal but it does feel well made and should prove a long term addition to your tool pouch. The rust resistance of stainless steel is always a plus, different grades have different stain-"less" ability, but so far so good. Stainless tools can also damage easier but I saw no indication of that when working with these. They seem quite strong and had no issues going through items 1/4" or less in diameter. I didn't have anything larger to prune but I'm quite sure they are up to the task. Finally, very nice packaging and presentation . Easy to open and aesthetic pleasing. The best of both worlds.

The blade and tip of these beautiful shears are sharp. I like the weight and the action of the shears and am impressed that these are hand forged in Japan.I have small hands (XS Adult); they worked for me but there was always a feeling they might fall off. This company makes different styles of shears, some with smaller ‘wings’, and those might be better suited to small hands. While I was able to cut comfortably large blackberry stems and the blades are quite sharp, when it came to woody branches of about 3/8” dia, it would require two hands to cut and would crush the stem a little. There is a tiny gap between blades, though this may be intentional. There does not appear to be a way to tighten the blades together. The company is in business since 2019.This is not stainless, so the shears need to be stored in a dry place to prevent rust.

Beautifully crafted pair of scissors. Looks and feels really good. They are very comfortable and extremely sharp. I just received it today, so I can't tell how they are going to hold up. However, I am very happy for now.
