Changed out my 5 hp two stage air compressors pressure regulator switch and its pressure saftey relief valve to brand new. Set manufactures regulator switch up too150 from 140 lbs max air storage. The new pe-set 200-lb pop off valve was left as is un-changed. I now I believe that pressure relief valve dribbled tank air over night to 130 and finally held. I Windex spayed every joint of all pipe fittings (under pressure) including the 60 gal tanks unloader valve for leaks. So I assume the pop-off's valve interior working parts (its valve seat) that I can't soap test for leaking Is the cause of air loss. The purchasing of another pre-set 200 lb pressure relief valve is required and will hopefully resolve the leak down of my air compressor so told 2% of 200 lbs actual 3-1/4 to 3-1/2%

Repiped my compressor to go to a large cooling stage made from 8 10 foot lengths of 3/4 inch copper pipe before dumping hot compressed air into my 80 gallon tank. Good idea to include a pop off valve in that same line just in case because I also included a bypass of the cooling stage in case of failure with 3 shut off valves. My compressor turns off at 175 psi so this is somewhat higher to prevent it popping off before limit switch is triggered.
