Took a chance on this refurbished unit. It worked for 60 days. I called their tech support and I was out of their warranty window. They offered to extend the warranty for $100. No. I did get in touch with Amazon and they offered a return for a refund.

it drops our signal at least a couple times a week.. leaving no option but too pull the plug and reboot it... am seriously considering returning it. Will be moving to Tumwater/Olympia in a month or so where I'll have Xfinity service. Presently service is Coast Communications in Ocean Shores, Wa.

It works fantastic, I couldn’t be more pleased! It was easy to set up using the supplied instructions. Works as well if not better than the Xfinity version and has the same array of inputs. It will save me a bunch, I will recoup the purchase price in just a few months.

My daughter wanted to save money and stop renting her equipment from Comcast/Xfinity with nothing to show at the end (they rent, they don't lease to own). This was listed as one of the devices that would work with their network(?). It was easy to set up and works perfectly. Saves her $15/mo.

I bought Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 as refurbished. I was surprised how the condition was. It was very simple to connect the modem. Everything was connect without any extra effort from my side. Everything worked on first attempt and I was surprised as I am not the techy person. I tested the modem speed on my all five devices and I was getting much better speed (very close to my cable provided speed). I have a landline voice and it is working great. Once in a while my call was dropping using old modem but not any more with new modem. I would highly recommend this modem and I would be surprised if any other modem would work as good as this one with the prices I paid. One thing I would say that it is a steal.

I purchased this modem to help cut the cord and the bill from Xfinity. I got this as refurbished for $99.00. It works like a charm and seems better than the stock Xfinity equipment. It's shaped better too. I was paying $15.00 a month to rental a modem and rented for many years. This should help in no time at all. The only thing I didn't like was the sparse documentation. It would be nice to get instruction on advanced features so that I can better secure my network. I will find that information elsewhere online though. I also sent back a few TV boxes I was renting and am using fire sticks instead. So far its able to handle the bandwidth on WiFi without any issue. That's another $20.00 a month in savings

Wow. I have been buying my own cable modem for about 8 years for use with Comcast. Started with Arris modems, then about 4 years ago went to a Motorola cable modem. In 2021 installed a Motorola MT771 modem with all 3 services: internet, wifi and telephone. Had some issues. But OK. Just installed a Netgear C7100V cable modem. Easy install but took an hour on the phone with an experienced tech rep to get the modem with the telephone service to work. That's Comcast. The Netgear modem worked fine on the hard wired connections and telephone, but the wifi had an issue. Called Netgear tech support. Wow a tech rep answered the phone. She was knowledgeable and guided me to enter some info into the modem. Resolved the problem in minutes. Wow That is so much better an experience than I have had with other companies. The Netgear modem which is the same technical DOCSIS 3.0 level, runs almost twice as fast. Wow.
