I tried connecting it to my xfinity account and it wasn't going through. After several attempts I finally called xfinity technician who checked it CMAC Number and showed me this router is already in use by another xfinity account. So this router is already being used some another account. I tried getting responses from the KANGA support but they never answered me.Very poor customer support.

This has been an excellent purchase. Super easy to install and no issues at all so far. Would highly recommend this to all!

I bought this after a Motorola router didn’t work and I sent it back. This router is excellent, easy to set up, and had a password I could remember. Brilliant!

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 is now selling at a great price. Easy to install and configure. Increased signal, and intuitive http interface for customization of settings if needed. I bought this to replace my Cox cable modem and NetGear Router... didn't want to pay the monthly fee for the Cox Modem, but wanted the reliability of NetGear products. I called Cox technical support, provided them the Serial number and MAC address of the unit, and they configured the unit remotely. Works great, less expensive cost (no monthly rental), and a significant increase in performance.

I swear the cable companies have been very good at making us pay for something we should all see for free and speed of internet free. But you can't because the government has regulated EVERYTHING from the GOVERNMENT or us the people who are the government!!!!!!! But the days of Tesla and Edison are over, we will be forced to pay for EVERYTHING we have to have or need to have done plus past debt we have been forced to take on? Debt like this stupid impeachment hearing that has been going on for years..... I say all DEMOCRATS SHOULD BE FORCED TO STEP DOWN UNTIL THE PARTY HAS BEEN FOUND INNOCENT OF THEIR CRIMES PRIVATE SERVER #1 #2 ADAM SCHIFF IS GOING TO HAVE TO ANSWER A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE B.S. STORY HE MADE UP.

The router came "plain box" style, well packed including a readable, colored manual and a premium 1G rated Ethernet cable. The few reviews on this refurbished model seem low in count as in popularity. I skipped over it thinking meh, refurb. Then I spotted this model new on BestBuy as a top seller. 4.8 star, from 7600 reviewers! Yeah, I'll take the refurb risk when they retail for $168. One theory, if they work out of the box you're good and this pup did exactly that.Increased cable speed from 70M to 90M (average) Many report increase with new modems but I didn't think it would affect speed like this.WiFi radios seem average in range output. Found I get best throughput with the 5G spectrum. Thought it would be the same speed but a less populated channel. Testing the 2.4G and 5G from the same distance and notebook location, the 5G connection yields 20M faster "speedtest" results. The modems/routers that have Reset buttons on the top of them are to be avoided. A proper unit should maintain the cable connection AND a reasonable amount of devices without weekly resets. I have an MS Surface notebook, one Firestick TV streaming thing, one iPhone and a hard-wired PC. Reboots for random wireless device drop-offs were weekly events. Of course resets are inevitable but not constantly. Maybe the specs seem overkill for your needs but these are serious gear priced right for what you'll get. I had no clue how 5G would be a want item 'til I tried it.

I'm absolutely thrilled with my Netgear product. I bought it out of the box so it was at discount and it stated it would not have instructions but they came with it. It was easy to install which I did myself at my new place as you can see in the photos I'm still unpacking, with my Xfinity Internet. I paid slightly less than two-thirds of the price of a new one, and I bought the warranty which I think was $14 for four years. Still at least $60 less than a brand new one. I took a chance on buying something out of the box from Amazon and I'm certainly glad I did because it was in superb condition and works great!I also recommend this particular product. I have a thousand square feet condominium but I can recognize my locked signal from across the street. Meaning, this would be ideal for an apartment, condominium, small to medium house placed in a central location. I'm a cybersecurity professional and techie, so I wanted a good product and you can bet I researched it. This router and modem combination is secure, strong signal, advanced, and saving me $14 a month with Xfinity as well.Additionally, you can see from the photo that I have it lying on its side on top of my Blu-ray player so it doesn't take up much space and it's not an ugly piece of electronic equipment. You could also hide it in a cabinet or behind one and the signal would be just as strong.
