Painting is beautiful with wind colors and details; however, the main doll is defective where top does not fit the bottom. See pics for details: big doll does not fit, where it’s supposed to be like the second one. I ended up using the sandpaper to adjust the width of the top inside to make it fit the bottom. Now it works just fine.

These are beautiful dolls! Beautifully hand painted and so detailed. My mother ordered them as a Christmas gift for my daughter, but with the craziness of the season’s postal/delivery issues, they didn’t arrive. My mother contacted the seller who immediately provided her with a refund. Then, of course, a few weeks after Christmas, the dolls arrived at our doorstep! The vendor was so very polite in contacting my mother to check on the actual status of the delivery. My mother asked to just have the money taken from her account again (instead of return the item to the vendor) because we fell in love with the dolls! The vendor was so polite and still apologetic about the delay in the postal delivery, yet, it was obviously something that was out of his control. To top it off, less than a week later, my mother received a beautifully handmade gift box from the vendor, “for her troubles”! We are so impressed with not only the quality of the nesting dolls, (which are now being displayed in our home and will be an heirloom piece) we are extremely impressed and touched by the wonderful customer service. This was a beautiful gift for my granddaughter, and was made extra special because it came from a long way away and came from a traditional craft. There needs to be a note on it, however, to allow for a couple of months for delivery if ordered during times of the year that are impacted such as Christmas season.
