Best idea for small cup of oil holy days candle. Doesn’t sink doesn’t make any mess. Clean long lasting holy flame. God bless.

at least a dozen or more of the discs that hold the wicks had holes in them that allowed the wicks to drop right through and were unusable. However, after I wrote this review out of sheer frustration, I contacted the vendor and had an immediate response. Going forward if I run into this issue, they have asked me to get in touch with them for a replacement. I'm leaving it at 3 stars until I'm totally satisfied.

Spent a bunch of time fighting with other oil lamps because I didn't know these exist. Drop one in a glass jar of vegetable oil and you have emergency lighting. They're easy to use, effective, and very space efficient.

Don't listen to the people saying that it sank, burst into flames, and nearly burned their house down. Or the people that say it only burns for a few seconds before fizzling out. If you are unclear on how to use them, look it up. Watch some videos. Here are a few pointers:Make sure the wick is at least 1/3 of the way out of the top of the disk.Put some of your oil ON the wick to prime it before you light it. (So it doesn't fizzle out.)Don't use some dangerous and flammable liquid in there, and you won't burn your house down! No lamp oil, etc. It should be a cooking oil of some kind. Olive oil being spiritually significant for many cultures. If the wick tips over, the flame will be extinguished. Here's how it goes:Fire proof vessel with container sides that won't scorch and crack if the flame floats to the side.A layer of water.A generous amount of some kind of food-based oil. (My photo shows Crisco. Lol)Your primed wick, at least 1/3 of the way above the disk, set into the oil.Monitor at all times, following proper fire safety. Yay!! Happy Yule!

The wholes in some of the discs are too big for the wick. They fell into the oil.

These worked out perfect! They were the largest discs I could find, but were just right to keep the flame in the center of my Shabbat oil glass. I had originally bought the standard size which were half as small and the flame would sit so close to the glass that I was afraid the heat would make them crack. These I've keep lit for 3-4 hours and burned beautifully without damaging the crystal.

These exceeded my expectations! Used to make a floating hanukkiah this year. These were so easy to assemble and use. They floated perfectly all eight nights, even when I dripped wax on top while lighting the wicks. Especially pleased that I could prepare these hours before lighting and they remained floating, wicks lit same as when just set up. Used a fork to lift used floater out of glass and replaced with a fresh one daily. Worked so well I plan to use for other occasions.

Living out of town can be difficult when you are looking for some specific Judaica. Glad that these were available online as they were exactly what I was looking for since I had them in the past. Excellent floating wicks and have not had any issues with these (aside from the occasional wick falling through the floater hole). Quality is excellent and feel safe with a fire going on it.

Not sure if they are the right size wicks, they were the biggest ones I could find but I know one thing for sure. Yes, this is awesome!! Thank you for those!! They work well, as intended.Although the original order was sent to the wrong address, Star Sales sent me a replacement, shortly after my bringing light to it. This was almost before Chanukkah!! Oi Vey!! :o #SweatingNailsNot only did the wicks come in on time but the fully lit Menorah was a really moving experience... stole the show!! It was my first time seeing this sight in real life, let alone lighting it up myself!!I do recommend them but learn to use them properly.Hint: The wicks can be placed in a way that it burns faster, with a larger flame; or slower, with a smaller flame. Simply drop the wick deeper in the disk and the flame will last longer... or pull it out more and the flame will be larger. I like to make the light as bight as possible on the last day and make it last as long as possible on the first.... seems like a befitting transition throughout the celebration!L'Chaim!
